"Are you sure you want to do this, Goten?"

The younger boy nodded.

"I mean, you don't have to do this." Worried blue eyes searched the other's face.

"No,I - I want to." An attempt at a reassuring smile shaped Goten's lips, but it slid away under the intense gaze of his friend. "I love you."

Trunks reached out and enveloped Goten in a fierce hug. "I love you too, but I don't want you to do anything you don't want to."

Any sounds from beyond the closed door seemed to drop away as Goten reached out and claimed Trunks' mouth with his own. Demanding, his tongue claimed entrance, sparring in the wet heat created by the kiss. Trunks tightened his grasp around his friend, boyfriend, ...lover?... and Goten pulled way to nip at the tender skin of his neck. Trunks gasped as the skin tore, leaving a slender trickle of blood to make its slow way downward, and slid his hands under Goten's shirt.

Smooth skin covered corded muscle, pliant under his touch. Goten returned to his mouth, slick with the salty taste of blood. His hands tangled in the silken mass of Trunks' hair,, pressing him closer even as his body molded itself to the lines of the other half-Saiyan.

"Goten..."

The continuing staccato thumps on the door finally registered as that same door swung open to reveal an impatient blue-haired figure.

The boys pulled away from each other hastily, Trunks dabbing at the still-bleeding bitemark on his neck.

"Tru-u-u-unks!" Bra stomped her foot. "You said you were gonna take me 'n Marron shopping!"

"Oh yeah." Goten grinned, hand on the back of his head. "I guess we sorta forgot. We're ready now, though," he added hastily, and glanced over at Trunks. "I really don't mind, Trunks-kun."

"You don't know what they're like," Trunks muttered dourly, glaring at his little sister.

The grin, if anything, got wider. "We can still have fun, koi." The dark-haired half-Saiyan leaned over and planted a light kiss on Trunks' mouth. "They can't be that bad."

"A-hem." Bra cleared her throat pointedly. She looked remarkably like her mother right before their father ended up sleeping in the gravity room.

Trunks sighed. "All right, let's go."

In a mercurial shift of mood, Bra smiled. "Yippee!" She dashed down the hall. "They're ready, Marron!"

The two boys looked at each other, and reluctantly followed. It was going to be a very long afternoon.
