Hey everyone! I'm at college now (SMU for those who care to know), and I'm glad to say I have plenty of time to work on my fiction! Problem is, at the moment, I don't have my own computer (yet). I'm getting really bad with these updates, I know. Things are just so hectic in my life right now, and for that, I apologize. Please accept this two-part update as a token of my gratitude for your readership. Sorry that Part I is so long, I just had to reach a certain point before I cut off (once you get there, you'll understand why). I tried to have a little more fun in the beginning of Part II, since both chapters are…quite depressing (and the trend continues for a while). Well, please enjoy!

I know, I know. Seriously, I've had some things to deal with and, well…working on the fic was either impossible or not important at the time. And since I got stupid and started typing a few chapters in the wrong order, I wanted to wait until I had everything in the -correct- order before posting anything. Anyways, another three-part update. However, Interlude: Unwelcome Revelations is extremely short, and Mission 10 is a little longer but not by much. So. . .yeah. Enjoy, hopefully.

Been a while, no? ; I know, I'm terrible. Between moving and school starting. . . well yeah. Ahem. Three part update! Actually, more like two because the interlude "Long Winded Explanations" is only a few pages long and sort-of an ending to the previous mission. And Mission 08 has its fair share of comedy as well (though it's kinda minor). Anyhow, on with the fic!

I was saving this for later, but. . . oh well. Parts six through eight are up, though all three are kind of short. And, since it's my little (not so little really-he's 6'8") brother's birthday today, it's dedicated to him. Aww, I know, I'm a sap. But he's my video-gaming pal! I still remember those days when we spent hours in front of the Genesis. . . right; I'll stop rambling now. So kid, this one's to you on your fifteenth! May you be taller than Mookie J this time next year (that's the older, other brother, who's eighteen, in case you didn't-which I'm sure you didn't-know ).

And oh yeah, there won't be any updates between around the twentieth-twenty-first through the twenty-sixth-twenty-seventh. I'm learning marches and going to a wedding. Yay. Not -. Although, the wedding will be nice. I mean, free food! C'mon! So yeah, for those days I won't even be near a computer. So consider this very large update an advance notice or something (I'd say advance warning, but I think that's copyrighted by MTV…crap! I said it! ).

Next 'mission' is up. Very short, but has some important elements to it. (See, just goes to show that I never plan on making any chapters near twenty pages! It just happens!) Of course, because it's short, that's why this update happened so fast. Don't worry, I'm in the middle of the next part. Won't be too long now. (And the next chapter contains actual plot elements! Yum.)

The next part is up. Much hilarity in this one. I love humor. Maybe I'll add 'humor' to the description. Another thing; I am working on my character designs still. Yes, and once most of the main characters are introduced I'll find a place to stash the 'Illumination poster' as I'm calling it. It's just a collage of main characters from the story. Yeah. And don't fret if the plot seems paper-thin at this point. It's coming, you'll just have to suffer through a few tedious yet humorous missions first. Anyways, as always, enjoy!

Hello. Sorry, I don't know anything cool, like Japanese. Anywho, this is the author of "Illumination" speaking. There are a few things I'd like to give you to soak in before reading.

For one, please ignore some of the kinks in the html, like the first paragraph won't indent. Sigh. For two, don't worry about the absence of character descriptions; I draw way more than I write so I have character designs, I just have to find a place to upload them. I was going for but they've been down. Forever. Ahem, thirdly, when "Illumination" picks up, Trunks is 24-25ish (One year after he defeats the Cell in his timeline, the sad one). Somewhere in there. And I've taken this information from ToT's database The premier place for Trunks and some general DBZ info). So no arguing with me, go talk to Meri if you think she's wrong. P AAAnd, finally, this is for those of you who are anime gurus, I'm having a little 'contest' of sorts. Lots of names of people, places, things, and events were derived/taken from other anime (not to steal, but kind of as symbolism or a joke) and from events in history/the real world. For each one you spot, email them to me and I'll add your name and what you spotted to THIS page. Yeah, you read that right. And believe me, there are several to start with in the Introduction alone.
