Chapter 1 ~Discovery: The Start of it All
(Kitsune: Lyserg centric!!!)
(Nami: Oh great. Another never ending series...)
(Zeyuna: Watch it. I think Kitsune's going morbid or something.)'
(Kitsune: Am not!!! *sings to the Inuyassha theme song*)
(Zeyuna: I guess not then...)
(Tyger: Let us start! )

Mother! Father! Look at! I'm a dowser!

The six year old boy known as Lyserg Diethel ran into his house, Morphin's cage in one hand, the Crystal Pendulum he just got held tightly in the other.

He ran in as fast as he could, eager to see the faces of his parents, proud.

Instead, what was he to find but the start of his tortured life?

!?

There, in the middle of the room, which was on fire, were his parents, dead.

Standing there next to them, is a boy about his age.

Anger boiling up within him, he ran up to the boy and grabbed his shoulder.

Hey! Who are you! What did you do to my mother and father!!!

When the boy refused to answer, the anger boiled up within him even more.

Hey! Answer my question interloper!!!

... So small...

!!! AAAAA!

Lyserg screamed as a red, menacing spirit appeared when the boy turned around, glaring at him.

~Later On~
Did you hear? I heard that the Diethel's were murdered!'

Murdered? Wasn't it a mere fire?

Would a mere fire only burn one room?

That's right! That could never happen!

Who would have done such a thing?

I heard that only their son survived... Does that tell you anything? He wasn't there when it happened...

Are you suggesting that a six year old boy would burn his parents to death?!

The boy would never! That Lyserg is the sweetest thing I've ever seen!

Then what was he doing with his father's spirit that day?!

Wasn't Morphin passed on to him a while ago?

I still think it was him...

He wouldn't dare! He loved his parents too much for that!

If that's the case, then why was he the first one to find them?!

He just got home then...

Who is this boy' he talks about with the red spirit?!

Who?

I tell you he made that out of his imagination!!!

... Did you say red spirit?

Yes, why not?

I heard rumors of a boy... A boy about Lyserg's age who has a great, red spirit... Apparently the boy goes killing those that are in the way...

...

So do you mean that...

The young boy is still lurking around the place...?

That Lyserg is NOT lying...?

Why would a six year old lie in the first place...

An uneasy silence went through the gossipers.

This isn't good...

What is it?

I told some kids my theory about Lyserg...

Oh no! They'll go chasing after him for sure!

Go after who...?

The gossipers turned around to found Lyserg standing behind them. The boy had tears running down his cheeks. Morphin was flying next to him, looking sad. Lyserg looks up to them, with hatred in his eyes.

Why? Why do you have to think that way? I was chased by my friends all the time! Why? You know why! I want my parents back! I want revenge!

But Lyserg, the one you are going after is supposed to be very horrible... Why don't you stay with me for a while?

No!

The gossipers gasped. It was the first time Lyserg said no to anybody.

I'm going to get stronger! I'm going to get stronger to avenge my parents!!!

Lyserg went running as fast as he could. That was the start of his days in darkness and confusions.

I will get back at him. Whoever he is. He better not think that he can get away with this! I know what you look like! I'll become a better dowser, and find him!
