"Honda-san..." He reached out and caught her arm. Her wide blue eyes stared, unblinkingly, back at him. In a moment, he saw what he had been wanting. He saw her openness with others, and the quiet presence that filled the entire room.
"Hai, Yuki-kun?" He tore his gaze away from her face. It wasn't that he had wanted her... just what she could offer him. He wanted her because she was not Souma, she wasn't involved in it...and then we she became involved it was as if she was not. He had watched her bring around each of the zodiac members to her side, and then face Kyou's true form with iron resolve. She had been afraid, but her... love, let her face him and love him.
"I've been wanting to tell you this...for the longest time..." Yuki breathed, drawing her close.
"Yuki-kun...?"
"I've liked you...Honda-san...I've liked you for a long time. But I know that you've chosen Kyou..." She started to say something, but he silenced her, "Shh. I know...and it hurts... because I can tell you things that I can't tell anyone else. Because I thought I loved you...but not anymore. Someone is waiting for me...so I have to let you go." Yuki clung to her in a desperate embrace, she turned in his arms.
"I know." And then she smiled.
Cloud watching was one of Haru's favorite things to do. He had found a nice spot on a hill a bit outside of the city limits. There he laid his coat down and flopped down on his back, eyes gazing expectantly upward. Clouds moved very slowly, but that was o.k. with Haru, he had time.
"May I join you?" Yuki.
"Always and forever."
"...Haru...I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."
"I know." And then he smiled.
