A/N: I decided to write a quick ficlet about Ginny and Hermione for some odd reason. This would be it. Er, this is my first attempt at femmeslash, so any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!!

Until You Find Your Way Back To Me

Hermione Granger lay unconscious in a bed in the hospital wing with a depressed Ginny Weasely by her side.

"Oh Hermione," Ginny whispered as she held the girl's hand, "Why did it have to happen to you? Why couldn't it be me instead?"

Ginny's mind flashed back to the night that Voldemort came to Hogwarts looking for Harry Potter. Hermione had crossed his path and Voldemort almost killed her as Ginny sat in a corner, crying. It was a night that she would like to forget, but knew that she couldn't. Not ever.

"Hermione. My sweet Hermione. Please wake up." Ginny whispered as she brushed a piece of hair away from Hermione's face. "I need you here. I need you with me. I love you, Hermione." Ginny choked as she began crying. "And I'll be here waiting . . .

. . . until you find your way back to me."
