Will I follow you,
and find myself lost in the darkest of the heart
will I watch you drawing spiderwebs
of cerebral gossamer form your temples
and find, in stirring shallow waters
you, entangled in dark greasy locks?
will I stand, figure of no dream,
hazily by the lake without sitrring
while I watch you
spun upside-down (caught like a raindrop)
eaten all inside, dissolved to leave a dark shell
so where did those threads of memory spin?
woven by ever tickling needles

When you find me poring over the basin,
it is dashed from my hands
and explodes in an epiphany of shattering
