A quick disclaimer before I begin. Now, now, I am a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, just in a different way. I love the manga, and read it eagerly every month in Shonen Jump, and I love it. I also love Season 1 of the anime, but that’s where it ends (haven’t gotten too into the rest of it…). I love Dark Yugi, and his mind games (best story: escaped con). But when it comes to constant drivel about the cards in the storyline, I wanna puke.
In America, Yu-Gi-Oh has become nothing more than a thirty-minute ad for the card game. They milk it to death, and I’m getting a little irate. So, as Denis Leary would do, I’m gonna sing a song, okay? And no, it’s not "Asshole".
BTW, I don’t own "American Woman". I don’t know who does, but he does and that’s all there is to it.

Do you get the idea that I hate the defamation of Yu-Gi-Oh! stateside. Not just the dub, but the whole deal of milking the franchise? Fine, it’s popular, and I don’t mind. But there is more to Yu-Gi-Oh! than the cards. There is a storyline too, you know. Remember the waaay beginning? I’m sure most don’t, but I do…
