Truth or Dare

Rating: Eh...PG-13

Disclaimer: I do not own Conor, Icicle, Taranis, Seanán, or Rai. VercisIsolde does. I am merely borrowing them. Don't sue me; I have enough debts to pay... (*cough cough* library fines! *cough cough*)

Warning: This story contains slash. That means it has MALE/MALE ROMANTIC PAIRINGS. DON'T LIKE, DON'T READ, DO NOT FLAME. Also contains some fluff. Sorry, couldn't help myself...

Raven grinned at the eight-year-old across from him. "Truth or dare, Seanán?"

Seanán held up one finger. Truth.

"Who do you like?" Icicle leaned forward to see the answer, and giggled as Seanán spelled out P-H-E-N-I-X with his fingers. Rai frowned.

"Who's she?"

Seanán shrugged.

"Then how do you know you like her?"

The small boy pressed his index fingers to his temples, closing his eyes.

"You dreamed about her?"

A vigorous nod.

"Okay...cool. Your turn."

Seanán grinned, and turned to Rai. He put his right hand out, palm up, and then his left.

"Dare."

Seanán pointed to Rai, then to Conor, and then to the woods.

"You want me and Conor to go into that clearing in the woods? For how long?"

He held up one finger.

"A minute?"

He shook his head.

"A second?"

Seanán shook his head again. Icicle giggled.

"An hour?"

He nodded, eyes big.

Rai frowned. "I don't know..."

Raven grinned. "Going to turn down a dare, Rai? Tsk, tsk, tsk."

"Fine. I'll do it. Let's go, Conor."

Conor stood, and the two boys walked slowly into the woods. Icicle giggled, and Seanán smiled evilly.

"So...we're here. Alone. In the woods," Rai said nervously. Conor nodded. "Do you want to...y'know...talk, or anything?"

"I am not really wanting to talk."

"Oh."

"I am wanting to know why you are accepting the dare."

"It's a question of honor!"

"Honor?"

"Yes! I can't turn down a dare!"

"Why are you not being able to?"

"I just...can't. It's a matter of honor!"

"Are they getting anywhere?" Raven asked Seanán anxiously. Seanán put his hands to his head and shut his eyes for several moments, then opened them and shook his head. Icicle giggled, and Raven shot her an annoyed look.

"Conor, have you ever kissed anyone?"

"I have been kissing my mother and sister, yes."

"No...I mean, really kiss. Like romantically."

"No..."

"Why not?"

"I am not...feeling that way for girls, yet."

"Are you gay?"

Conor blinked.

"Like...do you like other guys?"

"I am liking guys, yes," he said, not understanding.

"I mean..." Rai gave up, and instead kissed Conor deeply, tongue searching for tongue. Conor returned the kiss, now understanding what Rai had been trying to ask him.

Raven shifted position. "They getting anywhere yet?" he asked, like a small child. Seanán closed his eyes again, and this time, when he opened them, he was grinning.

"YES!" Raven yelled, slapping high fives with Seanán and Icicle, who was giggling. "We did it, we did it," he chanted happily.

Conor smiled at Rai, holding him tightly. Rai grinned, and stroked the other boy's cheek with one finger. Conor nuzzled him, and pulled Rai down onto the soft, grassy earth.

Raven looked at Seanán. "Are they still kissing?" Seanán closed his eyes, but soon jumped back, as if scarred for life. Raven nodded knowingly. "We'll just...leave them to it, then."

Taranis, Rai's father, came over to the threesome. "Have you seen my son?"

Raven smiled. "Yes, he's out getting firewood...do you want to play truth or dare with us?"

Taranis smiled. "I'd love to, Raven. Thank you for asking." Icicle giggled again.

Seanán turned from Taranis to look at her, then looked back at the older man. He smiled slowly, thoughtfully, and held out his hands, palms up, one by one.

Truth or dare.
