A/N: This is another poem about Remus Lupin. It takes place in his first
year. In my story (that will be put up eventually, when it is written
out!), he doesn't really make friends until later on in his first year. And
don't go telling me the last line is not true, because it is. If you
remember, he said that his friends found out on their own.

Did You Know
Look. Over there.
A small child
With sun-kissed brown hair
That falls into his misty eyes
His sad, sad eyes
He sits all alone at the table
Watching everyone
In silence
His worn out clothes
Hang loosely on his small frame
Wondering...wondering what they would think
If they knew
If he were to tell them
Or should they find out on their own
What would you think?
You see this child...
Look hard, now
Did you know...
Did you know that twelve times a year-
Sometimes thirteen
He becomes a bloodthirsty monster?
Did you know...
Did you know his greatest fear
Is that beautiful, pale, glistening
Orb in the night sky?
Did you know...
Did you know his whole life
His whole future was turned upside-down
The day he turned five?
What would you think
If you knew...
But you won't know...
Because he'll never tell you.
