Disclaimer: JCS belongs to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and probably
others (Guess what none of them are me).
Summary: A poem from Judas's perspective of what could have been if things
had gone the way he wanted.
Warnings: I am not a catholic (at least anymore). I am in fact in the
process of converting to Buddhism, so do not be offended if you are
catholic. Please review, but not to instruct me on why he had to die. I
know what Catholics are taught, but that is not my point. Thanx.

So Out of Hand
A Poem Inspired by
Jesus Christ Superstar
You had to push that
One extra step.
You had to go just
Too far.
You couldn't stop while
We were ahead.
I wanted to love you.
I wanted to follow you.
I didn't choose this
For myself.
Maybe it would have
Been easier,
If you hadn't gotten
So out of hand.
Gathering the masses
Welcoming them all
Such a brave step,
But a step too far.
Imagine what could
Have been.
Imagine where we could
Have gone.
We could have reached
The highest heights
If you hadn't gotten
So out of hand.
