A voice: breathless, loving.

She is so beautiful. You watch her, awed, as she coos and
croons and coddles to the newborn in her arms.
You have a son.
The doctor is speaking, but the only voice you can hear is hers,

you so much. You are going to be such an amazing man."
She is so beautiful. Her hair looks like hell and her skin is
sticky with sweat, and she's still struggling for air. And you
wonder, how is it that she looks lovelier now than ever before?
