The All American Legend Jessie James By: raven612 Summary: This is what I think Jessie's life is like after he quit the gang R&R plz!!!!!!!!

It was a beautiful day down in the valley where Jessie and Zee lived and on this day Frank and the rest of the gang were visiting Jessie and his new wife andlike always they were begging him to rejoin the gang.
"Owe c'mon cousin we need ya back!" Bob pleaded.
"You guys know that I want to."
"Well then you have to!" Cole said as he cut him off in mid sentence.

"Cole I can't I just want to stay here and farm." Jessie said as he kicked a clump of dried dirt. Just then Zee came from inside the house with drinks for everyone and she over heard the conversation and feeling selfish she decided to talk to Jessie tonight and even though she didn't want him to she would let him rejoin the gang only because she wanted him to be happy.
"Hello everyone!" Zee said excitedly as she carried the drinks out side.
"Why Zee you look even more beautiful than before," Frank said being polite.
"So Jessie this is quit a spread you got here!" Bob said admiring the land.
"Thank, it isn't much but I'm hoping it will turn into gold it's tough liven out here on this dirt sack!" Jessie said taking a look around at his small farm in disgust "But it's a living I guess." He stated.
"Now Jessie its not that bad." Zee said playfully hitting him in the arm.
"Yeah maybe."
"So Jessie you sleep on that idea and in the morning we'll discuss it further okay?" Cole said.
"Yeah okay."
"Well c'mon in you guys suppers waiting and it wont get any hotter!" Zee said.
"Yeah you guys better watch out it may kill ya!" Jessie said jokingly but Zee hit him in the arm pretty hard "Zee it was only a joke." He said as he seen the hurt in her eyes but they lighted up.
"I know I was only teasing you, now c'mon you guys suppers getting cold!"
"You don't have to tell me twice!" Bob said as he made his way into the house to the supper table and chose a spot next to Cole.
They had mashed potatoes, cooked corn, beans, chicken, and apple pie for dessert.
"Wow that was a wonderful supper Zee!" Cole said being polite which isn't like him.
"Why thank you Cole." Zee said.
"Yup Zee that was pretty good!" Bob said.
"It reminds me of my mothers cooking" Frank said and Zee was touched by it because to her it was an honor.
"Well I'm tired goodnight everyone." Cole said, "and thanks again Zee for supper."
"You're welcome Cole." Zee said blushing she wasn't used to getting such great comments.
"Here I'll give you a hand with those dishes." Jessie said as he started to help Zee clean the table.
"Jessie could I talk to you about something?" Zee asked once everyone cleared out of the kitchen.
"Yeah Zee you can talk to me about anything!" Jessie said.
"I know but this is important." "I overheard your conversation with Cole, Bob, and Frank and I was thinking if you would like to you could rejoin the gang again because if it makes you happy I'm happy" Zee said wiping away a tear.
"Zee do you really mean it?" Jessie asked excitedly.
"Yes I do but I don't, Jessie I just want you to be happy it seems that whenever the gang is back you sulk around for a week or two and it breaks my heart to see you like that." She said as she set her dishes down and moved into Jessie's arms for a warm and protecting hug. "I'll miss you!" "If you do decide to go along with them."
"Wait a minuet Zee I have an idea why don't you join with me?" Jessie said staring down into her eyes.
"Do you really mean it?" Zee asked getting excited.
"Well it was you who saved me from a train wasn't it?" Jessie asked.
"Yeah so."
"Well we could really use some one like you on our team!" Jessie said. "I'll talk to the guys in the morning about it but I think we might have ourselves a new gang member!" Jessie said as he hugged Zee than set her down and looked into her eyes "Zee I love you!" then he kissed her.
The next morning he and Zee were in the dining room preparing breakfast before everyone was up Jessie decided to propose his idea to them as they ate, Bob was the first one to the table and for breakfast they had eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy.
"Zee you sure know how to cook know wonder Jessie married you now it makes me wish I got to know you better as a kid then maybe you would be married to me and making me my dinners!" Bob said as he began to dig into his food. The next one to the table was Frank he also complemented Zee on her cooking.
"Thank you guys!" Zee said blushing. Then came Cole and also complemented her making her blush even more.
"After everyone was seated and they said their blessing Jessie cleared his throat "I have come to a decision last night and I have decided to rejoin the James Younger gang!"
From around the table loud cheers broke out "But I would also like it if Zee could join us?" he asked the cheering stopped abruptly. "Well?" Jessie asked the silence became to awkward for him.
"Well I see why not, what do you think brother?" Bob asked Cole.
"Well she did blow up a train and she rescued Jessie so I guess I'd be dumb if I said no huh? What about you Frank?" Cole asked Frank.
"Well I don't see why not!"
Zee's eyes light up and she ran around the room and hugged everyone. "Thank you so much you guys!" she said happily and she turned around and kissed Jessie "and especially you!" she said.
