Disclaimer: The usual. I tell you, I'm getting way to lazy to bother with
these, and you should all know by now that I don't own the books!

A/N: This is a poem (obviously, lol) about how Harry felt like he had been
lied to by Dumbledore in the fifth book. I will warn you, this is very
loosely based on the situation, so some things may not fit what you are
thinking, but I thought I should put this up, as I was kind of thinking of
them when I wrote it. *grins* I interrupted my biology homework to write
the poem - I thought it was a pretty good reason! *laughs* Anyway, this is
from Harry's P.O.V.

"Lies"

The sickeningly calm voice
Poisons my mind,
Lying to me
And rendering me blind;
The loving sound
Reveals it isn't so kind;
What safety is this
That locks me in a bind,
Promising love and care
When that is all a lie?
So we shake hands
And say goodbye,
But I know the truth
And now can't look him in the eye-
For how will I know next
When he sends me out to die?
