Did anyone ask me if I wanted to be Sailor Jupiter?
No.
Did anyone ask me if I liked being beat up routinely by some freak who wants to take over the planet?
No.
Did anyone ask me if I wanted to defend the earth?
No.
Do I really want to be Sailor Jupiter?
No.
Do I want to be beat up by some freak who wants to take over the planet.
Not particularly.
Do I want to defend the planet?
I guess. But if I had chosen my destiny I wouldn't have chosen this one. Why don't I walk away then? Why don't I just tell the other scouts that I don't want to do this anymore? Why don't I just give up when I am faced with a life or death matter?
Because I am sworn to defend the princess and I would give my life for her. It is as simple as that. Anyone of us scouts would give out lives for her, and we have.
