We thought in the darkness,
We might find some truth,
But who does it aid?
Never us.

We tried tried to betray,
And slip softly away,
But who can we trust?
Ever us.

We're marked and we're cursed,
In this half life we lead,
And they'll blame,
Forever us.

For when you're lead astray,
