I watch her face go ashen and her body crumple when Toby tells her about Josh. It was the same response the First Lady had — the same Toby would have if Andrea were hurt, or I might've felt, once, for Lisa. I can go bury my worry in my work, but her fate hinges on his life. I want to reach out; offer my support because I love him, too. My best friend is dying, and all I can see is Donna's pain, and I can't help but wonder... when did I lose him to a college dropout from Wisconsin?
