"Hey Fred, what's up?" George asked as he sat down beside his twin at the Gryffindor table. "Nothing," Fred said, poking his nose into a thick book. "How come you're reading that?" George asked. "Homework," Fred said distractedly. "Come on. We never do homework," George said, grabbing the textbook away from him. He opened it to the page that Fred had been staring at and a piece of parchment fell out. "Oooh, what's this? A love note?" George teased. "Give that back!" Fred said, making a grab for it but George held it out of his reach. He turned his back to Fred and unfolded the parchment to read the thick, flowing script.
Dear Fred,
I thought about what you said to me yesterday and I realized that I feel the same way as you do. I'm sorry I ran from you. I was just surprised and maybe a little scared to learn that someone I love actually loves me back. I'm sending this letter to ask you if you would like to go out on a real, official date. How about the next Hogsmeade weekend? Send Hedwig back with your answer.
Love,
Harry
When George finished reading the letter he turned around to face his twin, open mouthed. "You and Harry areā¦." was all he managed to get out before reverting back to staring at Fred. "Yes," Fred said. " We're going on an official date next Hogsmeade weekend. I just sent Hedwig back." George finally found his voice. "Well Harry does have a nice ass. I actually would have fancied him myself at one point if he hadn't had a crush on Hermione. I always thought he was straight." "He's bi," Fred said. "Oh," George said. He smiled at Fred. " I hope you two hit it off on your date," he said with a smile, rising to leave. "I'll see you in Transfiguration." He hurried out of the Great Hall, leaving a grinning Fred to finish his breakfast.
