Introduction and Disclaimer: I don't own any of Tolkien's rights I only own 5 characters in this fic, and miscellaneous characters who only appears for a short amount of time, their names and appearance's are the only things told: you'll find out who they are soon enough. And this fic starts in Loth Lorien With Haldir. There
are 2 reasons for my writing this fic:
1) This is a pre-fic to the upper coming fic 'Torn'
2) This is to introduce my characters for 'Torn'
This is my first ever fic to be published so please enjoy and don't
forget to R&R bye
Ps no fluttering when Haldir is mentioned! Vaduí followers! This is Forfirith, This is my first fiction, it is called 'There is someone watching over us' I actually started to write the sequel to this fan fiction, before the idea of this fic came to me, so please have
respect for the slow appearing chapters. I don't not own anything of Tolkien's. What she told me I did * Mumbles from the bed where Legolas and Haldir are tied up * I guess I shall have to release these two Elves then.. Oh no never they are mine! Chapter 1- A Vision of Light

Haldir of Lorien stood in the stables, grooming his horse Teleri; He named her so from one half of his Elvish inheritance. Haldir was half Teleri half Silvan but it was his Teleri side that showed more. He was so passionate and grew peaceful and calm whenever it rained or when he was near the sea. Teleri's mane glowed the silver colour it should be, from the grooming, it
had been a while since Teleri had received a full groom, and she was grateful to Haldir for it. Haldir put the grooming brush down and smiled at her, he stroked her nose and she nuzzled into his chest, Haldir patted her neck and began to put the grooming things away. Once the things were back in the box in front of the cubicle door, Haldir lent in to the mare's ear and he whispered Elvish words to her, she nuzzled into him again, so Haldir
stroked her nose again. He walked to the stable door, and he turned and
called to her.
" Namarie." He called, Teleri whinnied, saying farewell in her own language. He smiled and after retrieving his Bow and Quiver, and setting his Quiver neatly on his back, left the stables. Haldir walked through the silver woods of Lorien, making his way to the main gate. 'What should I do now?' he thought to himself, he could either return to his hut and continue reading a book he had sent to him by and anonymous writer. It was like a journal but the only name mentioned in it was his own. So he guessed that an admirer of his had written it. He could either continue reading it in his hut, or could go and practise, his already perfect archery. ' Well my archery is perfect but it doesn't hurt to keep it perfect.' He though and he walked towards the main gate. Haldir came to the edge of the woods, and
he turned to the direction of the Archery hut, he walked in between 2
bushes to get to the road when he heard Elven feet go running past him. "Haldir, Haldir!" Haldir stepped out from behind the bushes and saw it was
Nolithar, his best friend, so he called to him..

" Nolithar I am here!" Nolithar stopped running and looked behind him, he
shook his head turned around and jogged up to Haldir. Haldir laughed a
little. " I find it quite strange Nolithar when best friends go running around screaming my name, especially when their face is ridden of something that look's like a cross between fear and excitement. What is it?" Nolithar
stopped before Haldir, and bent down, holding a hand up to show he was catching his breath. Haldir crossed his strong arms across his chest and smiled, Nolithar stood up straight momentarily and looked at Haldir, it was
definitely excitement.

" Haldir, I'm glad I found, you before I ran to the stables and back."
Haldir laughed joyfully,

" You mean you are glad I called to you before you ran to the stables and back." They both laughed happily. " Now what is it old friend?" Nolithar
smiled at him, and Haldir grew suspicious.

"Haldir there is a Half-Elven lady at the gate asking for you, an old of yours she says but, even if she is an enemy, I would care not, for I have
not seen such a vision of light in 2000 years." Haldir put his hand on
Nolithar's shoulder, and smiled.

" Then Nolithar lead the way. For if she truly is a vision of light we must
not keep her waiting, must we?" Nolithar smiled and shook his head, he
began to jog towards the gate and Haldir jogged after his friend.

*********************************

Haldir started to question Nolithar during the short jog to the gate. "Did the lady give you a name? He asked as they reached the stairs down.

" Nay she did not, the only information she gave was that she was an old
friend of yours."

" Well what is her appearance then, her hair, eyes, what is the look of the
Lady?"

" Her hair I could not see, it was hidden by the hood of her soft brown cloak, her eyes, well they were strange, they are green, but when I looked
into them I felt as though I was looking in to her soul, and she in to mine, like some sort of trickery. But I think an enemy would feel fowler, when she looked at me I felt at peace with myself, like everything was in
place, and nothing could go wrong. A deep gray mist covered her eyes, I feel she might be Teleri, she had it written all over her face." Haldir was pleased with the news of her being Teleri, it narrowed his choices down to 2, for he had only known two Teleri females, one was full Teleri the other
was Half mortal, half Teleri. But if the lady that is here is the Half-
Elven lady, then he would sleep more peacefully tonight.

"She is fair." Nolithar continued, " Not tall but not short, perhaps a little shorter than yourself, Her skin is slightly tanned also, but still
as light as any elf." By the sound of this Elf, Haldir would gladly bed
her, but the information that Nolithar was giving to him was little and unhelpful, for he had described both of the Teleri girls he had known. He
just needed to see the Lady's hair and that would decide it, her voice also. He wondered which 'Old friend' from the Teleri race was he destined
to meet again?

Haldir and Nolithar had now finished descending the stairs and had turned
around the corner to the main gate. The 6 guards usually on duty stood there, and there were two horses stood before them. One was a white horse with a mane that glittered silver blue, the rider still sat on the saddle, the other horse was a deep brown with a black mane and a white sock on its back left foot. The two riders on from that horse were stood on the ground talking. Haldir and Nolithar stopped jogging and walked towards the guards.

As Haldir got closer he saw that the 2 elves on the ground seemed to be companions to the other elf, one was a Younger and the other an adult of about 6000. They were both Silvan elves. The Younger had dark brown hair to
her waist and Haldir thought he recognised her. The other elf had long blonde hair to her buttocks; it was neatly woven into braids with lavender
coloured ribbons mixed in. She looked over and saw Haldir and Nolithar
approaching. She took her time, looking at Haldir, and Haldir began to presume that was the Lady he was meant to see. She looked him up and down.

His blonde hair looked almost white in the light of Lorien, it was tied neatly back and two braids escaped from behind each ear. His crystal blue
eyes reminded her of the River Silverlode that they had just passed on
their journey. He was clad in a green, brown and light blue fashion; he wore brown boots to his knees, then black leggings, his light blue shirt went down to his mid thighs, and was tied neatly around his waist with a silver belt, it was short sleeved and finished at his shoulders. Then black sleeves instead could be seen extending to his hands with a point touching his middle finger. His cloak was brown but glittered silver in the light, it extended down to his mid calves, and it was pinned around his neck by a leaf shaped clasp. He held his bow in his hand and his Quiver still neatly on his back, despite the brief jog to the gate, safely in place by a brown belt across his chest and shoulder, his face was fair but stern, he looked
wise, and the lady herself blushed a little at the sight of him.

Haldir turned to the Rider that was still on her horse; she alighted from
her horse and landed on the ground with a soft thud. Her brown cloak spraying out to unleash the bright silver blue of her clothing underneath
it. The thin mud on the ground remained still and not 1 grain of dust stirred as she landed. Haldir suddenly guessed that this was the elf that
Nolithar had spoken of.

She wore brown boots that covered up to her knees and light blue leggings covering her long slender Elven legs. Her shirt was also light blue and was kept around her trim waist with a white belt. There was a cover over her arms that was part of her shirt; it was a silver colour that contrasted the
blue. It came from her neck and finished at mid biceps. It had a brown trim around the edges of it witch matched her cloak and boots. Her cloak was held on her by a pin with the symbol of the City of Tirion engraved on
it. Her arms from her elbow to her fingers were encased in pure silver leather wrist guards, for archery. The leather went in between her first finger and thumb, covering the web neatly. The guard went around her hand
centimetres before the gaps between her fingers.

Her Bow was brown with silver decoration etched on carefully. Her Quiver was to the same style and held to her back by a brown belt again across her
chest and shoulders. She walked over to Nolithar and smiled. As Haldir
looked at her smile, he was taken in by her natural beauty. He felt his knees buckle and he forced himself to stand straight. The She-Elf glanced
over at him and smiled. She seemed to recognise him. But she quickly
returned her attention to Nolithar again, who seemed very pleased to be
receiving the attention.

" Ah Vaduí, fair elf, did you seek Haldir out, did you manage to find my
old friend? My business is urgent and cannot wait." Haldir heard a
familiar tone in her voice and he looked at her more closely, he hood, still covered her hair but he though he saw a glint of silver, but then it changed to blonde and he was confused. Haldir wanted to know more about her before he confirmed her as a friend. Nolithar was about to answer the she-
elf but Haldir put a hand on Nolithar's shoulder and Nolithar stopped. Haldir turned to the she-elf and she looked to him, Haldir definitely knew
her from somewhere.

" Yes, I am Haldir's helper, I will lead you to him, but I was told to learn more of you and your companions before you enter this place. As all
who have bad intentions against Haldir or anyone who dwells here, must leave now or be shot on sight." The hand that held his bow twitched to show he was serious. The she-elf laughed softly, and Haldir sensed that familiar feeling once more. A smirk crawled upon the elf's face and she shook her
head.

" Oh Haldir you have not changed." She smiled and lifted her head back up to Haldir. Haldir feared he had been found out, but the she-elf turned and
pointed to her companions. Haldir sighed and Nolithar smirked. The lady pointed first to the older of the two elves, she was plainly a Silvan elf
and she looked old enough to be Haldir's mother.

" The Half Silvan half Teleri you see there is my best friend Celebros Koshíen, she is 6069 and she is not only my friend but also a healer and a teacher of magic to all those immortal and not. She comes from The undying lands with me, and she has been a great friend to Rumil and he shall know her. Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn also know Celebros. So you should let us pass without us having to tell you who we are. Celebros is fair with a
bow but her specialty is the Long sword and the Claymore." The she-elf paused as the blonde haired and blue-eyed elf nodded and smiled at Haldir
and Nolithar, in greeting. Haldir saw this and turned to see Nolithar blushing and cringing. Haldir laughed a little. The Lady waited until she had their attention once more and then pointed to the younger elf, the one
who seemed to remind Haldir of Elrond, but even more so of Arwen

" The Half-Elven is Fierei, Descendant of Earedil, and daughter of Elros, brother to Lord Elrond of Imladris. She takes more after Elrond than Elros.
She chose to be half Elven at the age of 9, she is very wise and knowledgeable, and at present is 2089. She is young but do not be fooled by
her age, she is more wiser than Elros and was taught by Elrond. She can handle magic amazingly and Celebros and I are teaching her, arts with bows
and swords." The Lady watched as the young elf bowed inconveniently but politely to Haldir and Nolithar, she looked at Haldir and her cheeks went rosy. The Lady laughed and nodded to the young elf that instantly turned to talk to Celebros once more. Haldir blushed a little but suddenly remembered
that the Lady had not yet told him of herself.

The Lady turned to Haldir and he looked her in the eye, suddenly he could
not move, he found himself captured by her, a prisoner of her eyes. Her eyes flashed may green and as he gazed into them, a mist brushed over the iris and pupil of her eye. Haldir felt magic around him, so he closed his eyes and looked away. The She-elf looked at him, as did Nolithar. They both wandered what was wrong with hi, but Nolithar saw the mist in her eyes and quickly looked back to Haldir, Nolithar knew he had looked into her eyes.
The Lady smiled but kept looking at Haldir. Haldir quivered slightly,
Celebros and Fierei looked over smiling, knowing quite well what had happened when the elf had looked into their friends' eyes. Haldir suddenly
recognised the magic around him, and the feel of her eyes upon, him he recognised her voice, but he had to be sure, she was using magic after all it could be trickery. Haldir opened his eyes and looked at the she-elf but
carefully avoided from looking in her eyes.

" And you Lady.. Who are you?" The she-elf closed her eyes momentarily, and
then opened them again smiling.

" I am Half-Elven, Teleri and Mortal. And I have to remain as such. The only part of me that is mortal, is that my time of death can be anytime, but I am just turned 5562, so I guess I shall die between now and 6000. I am not immortal, I can use magic sufficiently as I am Alferin, and I am an excellent Marksman. My Bow Silvariei is my weapon and any enemy should fear the light of its merciless point. Haldir and I were old friends when I was 1000, until I was taken from him to the undying lands when I was 1500. And my name Lord." She paused and pulled her hood down to reveal, blue-silver
hair wth soft Loth Lorien blonde streaks woven and intertwined into the silver. Haldir knew, he didn't need to hear her name know he knew who she
was. " My Name Lord is Forfirith Aerthia." Haldir gasped once more and
opened his mouth at hearing the name from so long ago.

*********************************

" Haldir, I have been your young playmate for 500 years or more now. I have told you all me secrets, how I was born of Celebrian, Daughter of Galadriel
and Celeborn and wife to Elrond, and that My mother died of a poisonous wound. And how it came about that Elrond is not my father." Forfirith sat on a glittering gray stone in the gardens of loth Lorien, The older Haldir, her 'guard' as he though of it leant against the tree closest to her, and hearing her distressed tone walked and knelt before the smaller Elf, she
was a late bloomer in height, but Puberty had come early for her, and
Haldir often found her quiet sweet, innocent and intoxicating. " Forfirith, what are you saying, You are my little playmate, and I also have told you everything about me. Where is this conversation leading?" he asked carefully, Forfirith took her eyes from the small lake that flowed and wound across the ground. She turned to Haldir and took his hands in to
her own, and she grasped them tightly.
"My Father Elezen as much as he dispises me sent me to my Grandmother
Galadriel for teaching, T'was here that I met you and your two brothers
Orophim and Rumil. And we quickly became inseperable, and Orophim and I evven fell for one Orophim spent a lot of time on errands for
Celeborn and Galadriel and you were with me more. We would play in the forests of Loth Lorien, Imladris and Mirkwood, and we me many an Elf that considered us to be more that friends. We have become closer than Orophim
and I will ever be." Haldir furred his brow in confusion,

" What may it be that you are trying to say, Pen-Elen?" Forfirith smiled
lightly and lifted her head to stare at him.

" I love you Haldir." Haldir's eye's widened, Haldir felt the same, but she was a young Elleth, he could not bed without her fathers permission at that
age. Forfirith saw the look on haldir's face and knew he felt the same.

"But, I cannot be with you. Lord Elrond has founf out my ture identity and
father has ordered I return home at once, to prevent Lord Elrond from taking me to Imladris, and keeping me there for the remainder of my life.
Celebros, arrives in one hour, We leave the moment she does." at those words tears welled in her eyes and she began to cry, Haldir took her in his arms, she cried and cried and nothing would take the pain away, she wanted to stay with Haldir for the rest of her life, as her tears cames faster, haldir pulled her back from the embrace and then slowly leant back in, but his mouth homed in on her own, and their lips met, her mouth tasting like young fresh ripe fruit was dancing upon her tounge. The kiss was intimate, passionat and long lasting. Haldir knew he was out of bounds to do this but he had wanted her for so long, even just a taste of her mouth was enough to
keep him happy, yet keep him wanting more.

For an hour they kissed, and remained together, but when Celebros arrived, she was forced for haldir's arms and taken away back to Tirion, Celebros took hold of her by the waist, and she yelled and cried as Celebros pulled
her to a horse. Nolithar and a guard of Lorien held Haldir back, tears
flowed from his eyes, he called to her, and he screamed and yelled in despair. And they very last words he heard from her heavenly mouth as he
was pulled to the entrance of the woods were:

" I love you Haldir, I shall return Haldir, I promise. Melamin Haldir!" She
screamed as Celebros mounted the horse with Forfirith, and rode off.

********************************* Haldir felt the tears well up in his eyes but he had to reply to her she
had to know as well as he did.

" Then, Forfirith." He bucked and stuttered just saying her name. " I shall not take you to Haldir." She gasped and put her hand to her heart fearing the worst, was he dead, did he say that if it was her, that he did not wish to see her ever again. Had he found someone else? Tears welled up in her eyes and she let one escape down her cheek but the elf continued. "For her is stood before you." Forfirith gasped once more and stepped back, looking
from Haldir to Nolithar. Celebros and Fierei all gasped and exchanged
glances. But Celebros smiled as Haldir spoke once more.

" I am, your Haldir Forfirith, Melamin. I am here." Forfirith closed her eyes and felt tears down her cheeks, but Haldir stepped forward and quickly
brushed them away.

" No, Melamin what happened to the Ainaethir to the Pen-Elen I used to know?" she laughed softly as he cupped her face in his hand. She closed her eyes at his touch, she opened her eyes, he cried also, As the pain from the
past 4062 years came back to them, the pain of not knowing if either of
them were still alive or if the other had found another greater than theirs. Forfirith clutched his hand on her face and she brought it down to her lips. She kissed it, more tears escaped from her eyes, Haldir placed both his hands on her newly formed mature face, and she felt as though she
was crying the pain of her life into his very own eyes as the more she
cried the more he cried. This made her guilty.

" Melamin, Haldir!" She leapt into his arms, and Haldir wrapped his arms around her sank to the floor with her as her knees buckled from the strain
on her Teleri heart.

" Shhhhh.. Melamin.. Pen-Elen I am here now." Haldir said softly, Forfirith
snuggled into Haldir's chest and her crying eased.
Celebros and Fierei continued to talk and Nolithar asked the guards to
escort them to an available hut, and put the horses in the stable. Forfirith and Haldir eventually got up off the floor and returned to the place where hey spent their last hour together. They held each other for a whole hour. They had found each other once more. Forfirith had returned to
her Melamin, just as she promised.

Awww Bless * Sniffs *, how sad is that?! Don't worry the next chapter is
really sweet. But this fic is only 5 - 10 chapter long so far I haven't
decided. Lol. But erm have fun please R&R I'm desperate.
