On The Banks

Is what the maiden said.

But how can I when my world seems so full of dread?

All my life is toppling down,

Hopelessly lost in this storm!

Yet there always seems just a little hope left

Always ready to form:

A ray of sunshine to gleam down,

Readily prepared to stay the frown

That's ready to spoil the rest of my face,

Unlike the rest of the hobbit race:

Happy, joyful, never sad,

Always gleeful, rarely mad.

So I go to meet my destiny.
