PART 1 - Sisters and Brothers

"Unkie Jack!" Charlotte ran up to Jack with her arms stretched out.

"Hey gorgeous!" Charlotte jumped into Jack arms and wrapped her arms around his neck. "What's been happening with you?"

"I got to ride mummy's horse today!" Charlotte had a big grin on her face.

"Really? Well someone's a special girl then!" Jack put Charlotte down and held her hand, leading her inside. They found Claire in the kitchen.

"Look mummy! Look who's back! It's unkie Jack!" Charlotte ran up to Claire and grabbed her hand, trying to pull her up to see Jack.

"Hey, how was your trip?"

"As good as a trip to the city can be. Where's Jodi?"

"Out fixing a fence in the north east paddock. She'll be back soon," Tess said, striding into the kitchen with Emily on her hip. Emily saw her mum and stretched out her arms with grabby hands.

"Mummay! Mummay!"

"She just woke up from her nap," Tess informed Claire. She turned to Jack, "hey little brother, nice to see you back." Jack laughed at Tess calling him 'little brother'. She liked the fact that she wasn't the youngest anymore.

"Yeah, it's always nice to come home." Tess gave Emily to Claire, who nuzzled up to her mother. Then Stevie, Jodi, Nick and Alex all waltzed into the kitchen. Jodi spotted Jack and ran over to him.

"Jack!" He spun her around in his arms and planted a kiss on her lips. "I've missed you so much!"

"I've missed you too baby." Alex grabbed a beer out of the fridge and sat down at the table across from Claire and Emily. Charlotte jumped into his lap.

"Wo! Slow down Charls!"

"Slacking off already Ryan?" Claire said with a devious grin. Alex just gave her a look that said 'shut up'. Then a girl walked into the kitchen. She looked to be about 17 or 18. Nick saw her first.

"Who are you?" He asked quickly. Everyone turned to face the girl who was standing in the doorway.

"Rosie," Stevie whispered.
