On the day of the performances, Sam and Jack did kiss around 11:30 pm. Teal'c, who had 11:20 won the bet and the losers had to pay him. For the first time, he had a smile on his face.

General Hammond told Sam and Jack that according to the President, they could be together because of all the things they have done for Earth.

They were ecstatic. Finally, nothing could get in their way. Everyone was cheering for them as Jack and Sam kissed again.

That night, everyone went home happy, even though some people were mourning the loss of their money to Teal'c.
