DESERTED

He has deserted me.

Simon, the poor, tormented boy. I know he harbors such guilt over the little boy he mercilessly slaughtered with his car. I, Cecelia, am in love with Simon. I wish we could marry, but I know now that he will never see me without seeing the blood splashing on the pavement, the beautiful little pot-head crashing to the brutal cement.

I, Cecelia, am sad. For I cannot bear this separation.

He's going now to college, without me. I am all alone now, all alone but for two little twins named Sam.

Why did you dump me, Simon? Why must you go to college without me?

I am weeping as I say this, weeping like a sad fish. It's so tragic to lose a love the way I lost Simon. Why did he kill that stupid little biker? Why didn't he just punch someone if he felt upset?

I will never recover from this rank desertion. I will never feel joyous again.
