Alc: OMG! AN UPDATE! LOL…sorry for not updating anything in a while, but I've been busy trying to pass Chemistry. (Hits Mrs. Calaway with the BOARD O' DOOM!)
Don: Now now…don't kill the teacher…oh wait never mind. You can kill that one. (Goes back to drawing)
Carl: (Listening to Autobonics by Tony Bacala from tfw2005) Meh…just don't get blood on the computer.
Sideswipe: Hugs….ALC NEEDS HUGS! (Glomps Alc while chibi-fied)
Alc: Awwww….. (Hugs him back) Okay I won't kill the chemistry teacher. (Leaves a twitching Mrs. Calaway on the ground)
Barrage: What the….? (Smacks herself in the head) You fleshies annoy me…badly. Mostly because you're goody-two-shoes-Autobot fleshies but that's besides the point. (Play Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance) MWHAHAHAHAHAHA! BLOOD AND GORE EVERYWHERE!
Alc, Don, Carl, and Sideswipe: (blink blink) Oh-kay?
Alc: Oh yes and I was just wondering…would anybody like to do any art for any of my stories? I was just wondering because even though I don't have an account I like to visit Deviantart a lot and two of my favorite artists on there are Hotshot94 and WhiteWings. I would just like to see how people envision my characters…I've already drawn my own pics of them but I can't scan them or anything because I don't have a scanner. So if you feel like drawing any pics put the link to it in your review please! Oh yes and if you've read my other fic "A Bot and a Girl" then you'll recognize the name Sidestrike in this chapter and the next couple of ones. NOW ON WITH THE FIC!
The place was a dark cave that was big enough that Tidal wave could walk and maneuver around in freely. Sideswipe was the only one that seemed apprehensive. When Areia had come into the control room earlier something had been…off. He couldn't quite place it but he thought it had something to do with her eyes. They didn't seem to shine like they usually did.
"Alright everyone…let's be extremely careful! We want to stop this war once and for all now…LETS ROLL OUT!" Said Optimus as everyone got ready for what could be the fight of their lives. As everyone proceeded into the cave a pair of gray optics appeared behind him. Before he could do anything he had been knocked unconscious by Carl's evil self and dragged down a secret passage way.
"Let's go send some trash to the Pit Cyclonus…" Said the evil Sideswipe look-alike as he, Cyclonus, Demolisher, and Barrage went into the catacombs of the cave to do battle with the Autobots.
"It doesn't look like anything is damaged…so he should be okay."
Sideswipe had the worst headache he had ever experienced, and he had experienced some pretty bad headaches before. He groaned and opened his optics.
"Hey Sideswipe! How's it goin'?" Asked Carl as Sideswipe sat up slowly.
"I've got a splitting headache…but other than that I'm okay. But, how the slag did I get in here? And…hey wait a second…Areia, why are you wearing different clothes?" Areia looked at him.
"Well to answer your first question, that evil Carl drug you in here. And to answer your second question: I've been wearing these clothes since I've been here. It's not like they really have changing rooms in giant caves of death ya know."
Carl chuckled. "Who says you need changing rooms." Areia proceeded to blush furiously as Don hit Carl in the back of the head.
"Control your hormones Carl…wait a sec…AAAAAAHHHH IMAGE! BAD IMAGE! Uh no offense Areia but…AAAAHHHH THE WRONGNESS!" Areia stopped blushing and looked at them strangely.
"Uh…no offense taken…I, um think?" Sideswipe looked at the three strangely.
"Good thing I'm not a teenager…wait a second. I am a teenager…uh…never mind. So let me get this strait: I was brought in here by an evil Carl? Um, I'm confused what do you mean by evil?"
Don finished calming himself down and proceeded to explain to Sideswipe everything that had happened so far.
Suddenly the laser fire stopped. The Autobots crouched in their hiding places for a few moments waiting for what ever it was that their enemy had waiting for them. What they didn't realize is that they would be utterly deceived by Sidestrike.
Before anyone knew what was happening Sideswipe, or someone that looked like Sideswipe, stepped around an outcropping of rock.
"Optimus don't shoot it's me!" He said as he walked closer with his hands raised in the air to show that he was unarmed. Optimus raised his head just enough so that he could see over his boulder.
Optimus and the others came out of their hiding places and surrounded Sideswipe. Sideswipe smirked evilly as his eyes flashed red. Starscream moved his head aside just in time to miss getting impaled by a helicopter blade. In this confusion "Sideswipe" pulled out two laser rifles and with amazing speed shot in every direction possible. (If you've seen the movie Equilibrium then just imagine the way that the main character shot his guns in that movie in like every direction at amazing speed…that's what Sidestrike is doing.)
Sidestrike then changed his colors from his "good sides" colors to black. He surveyed the damage he had done.
"Damn…I missed all the vital parts. Oh well…" He shrugged. "I just woke up after all." He crouched down beside Hotshot who had been hit in the leg and arm.
"Trust me 'bro' I've got a lot better aim than my slaggin' goody-two-shoes half." He pulled the helicopter blade out of the wall and tossed it back at Cyclonus. He then walked to where Demolisher and Cyclonus were waiting for him and turned around to look at the group of slightly wounded, extremely stunned Autobots.
Cyclonus burst into a laughing fit at their expressions of disbelief and confusion and waved good-bye mockingly at them. Demolisher smiled and shot down a bunch of rock from the ceiling. As the rubble blocked the way he chuckled evilly.
"Good-bye Autobots see you soon…if you can get by Barrage that is!"
And that was when everything started falling apart between the Autobots, Carl, Don, Sideswipe, and Areia as well as a few others.
Vector Sigma's voice resounded around her. "Your future may very well go down a dark road child." Areia looked around her.
"I'm sorry…I guess we've failed you. Even though it isn't our times Unicron he's still here." She sighed and looked at her feet.
"You have not failed me child…you are human…and not even transformers can be perfect, not even myself…and not even Unicron." He said in a fatherly tone. "These pictures around you are moments from your past, present, and what could be in your future. The pictures that show your future may change…and yet…some of them are already set in stone. Would you like to see these that are sure to happen my dear?"
Areia looked up and shrugged. "Sure…why not." Suddenly she felt as if she were being gently pushed towards a group of the pictures. There was a flash of golden white light that surrounded her. The next thing she knew she was standing in a house.
Vector Sigma's voice spoke to her. "Do not worry about these people seeing you…they cannot my dear." Areia walked around the living room that she was currently in and noticed that there seemed to be more than one person living here…way more than one. She jumped a little when the phone rang. Areia walked over to the phone and looked at it. Hesitantly she reached down to pick it up, but was surprised when her hand passed through it.
"Well…that wasn't exactly normal. But I guess that's why these people won't be able to see me." She turned her head to the right when she heard footsteps on the carpet. The person that she saw was familiar yet she couldn't exactly place from where or how he was familiar.
The young man walked over to the ringing phone and picked it up. "Hello, this is Skyler, how can I help ya?"
The young man had dark purple hair that was tied into a ponytail that currently was resting over his shoulder. His hair appeared to be about mid-back length. His eyes were an almost cat like yellow. He was wearing a purple t-shirt with black stripes on the sleeves and black pants.
"Oh hey there Carlos! Huh? Where'd I get the name Skyler? Well, uh…Areia said that Starscream and I might need more…well, human like names so she suggested Skyler. Since it's not too different from Skywarp and I kinda like it I said sure why not. My big brother wasn't too thrilled with the idea so we just call him Starscream. Oh yeah did you want to talk to sis? I'll get her hold on…" Skyler, or Skywarp, put one hand over the phone's speaker and shouted Areia's name.
Areia looked shocked. "Sis? Who is this guy…and why did he call me sis? And, wait a second…he called Starscream his older brother. STARSCREAM HAS SIBLINGS?" Areia turned her head again when she heard another pair of footsteps and was shocked to be looking at herself.
Areia noticed that her other self had a few differences from her but not very many. One difference that she noticed was that this other her appeared to be about a year older than herself. The other difference was that she had a scar running down her left cheek. The other Areia nodded her head at Skyler and picked up the phone.
"Hey Carlos what's going on?" Areia watched as her other self's eyes turned dark with anger and unhappiness. "Well, the others aren't going to be too happy about that. So Optimus wants to find us all again huh? You think he could make up his mind…how is everyone though?" Areia's other self smiled a little and her eyes got brighter.
"Yeah that sounds about like them. I am sorry that I couldn't hang out with Shinna though. But it's really not my fault for that. I'm guessing Hotshot's still depressed? Yeah maybe he won't be if I can convince Sideswipe and the others that we should meet up with Optimus. Hey thanks for tellin' me this Carlos…it means a lot. Tell Rad that I'll be seeing him soon. I guess I'll be seeing you sometime soon Carlos, bye!" She hung up the phone and let her hand rest on it for a moment.
"This is just wonderful…" She said as she sighed. "Let's hope I don't loose my anger with Optimus."
Areia watched the other her walk out of the room as the place she was in faded like wet paint running down a window. Suddenly another scene was formed around her. This one was apparently somewhere in the Autobots base. The Autobots were apparently having some sort of meeting; however, Sideswipe, Don, Carl, and Areia were not present. Areia noticed that Shinna was sitting next to Jetfire's hand, which was resting on the table clenched in a fist.
Areia tore her gaze away from a very angry looking Jetfire when Hotshot spoke.
"B-But Optimus…they said that it wasn't them!" Optimus shook his head sadly.
"Yes they may have but that doesn't change the fact that they became traitors Hotshot!" Hotshot stood up out of his seat and slammed his fist on the table, which caused Shinna to grab onto Jetfire's hand.
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN EXILE THEM DAMNIT! WHAT IF WHAT THEY TOLD US WAS TRUE? WHAT IF UNICRON REALLY DID MAKE CLONES OF THEM, AND THOSE WERE THE ONES THAT ATTACKED US? HUH WHAT THEN! YOU'LL BE EXILING INNOCENT PEOPLE!" Energon tears were starting to slip down Hotshot's face.
Areia gasped. "Exile? Optimus is going to exile us? B-But doesn't he believe us!" Areia looked at Shinna and saw that she was sobbing into Jetfire's open palm as he cradled her form.
"And what if they were the ones that attacked us and they're just telling a lie so that they can get out of trouble? The fact is that they turned against us and even attempted to kill us. That cannot be forgiven Hotshot." Optimus looked at Hotshot who shakingly sat down. Suddenly Areia heard laughter and turned to see Starscream laughing while shaking his head.
Optimus raised an eyebrow ridge. "And just what do you think is so funny Starscream?" Starscream chuckled a few more times and then stopped laughing.
"I find it hilarious…that you Autobots who think you are the ultimate Sayers in who is right and who is wrong can make such a mistake." Optimus looked at him strangely.
"What do you mean?" Starscream shook his head sadly.
"If you cannot tell the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, then you are worse than Megatron ever was and ever will be. If you cannot trust some of your most loyal soldiers then I regret to announce that I am leaving you Optimus. I'll risk my neck with humans more than risk it with you if you make the decision to exile those children. After all…" Starscream rose from his seat and proceeded to walk out of the room. He stopped at the open doorway and looked back at them all. He glared at Optimus. "…I can fit in with them here. I'd rather live somewhere that is fairly peaceful with the ones I love…than to stay here and experience the struggle you will have with yourself if you exile them. I harbor no bad feelings for any of you…it's just that I can't let myself stay here if you can't realize that these children have just been products of war and nothing else." Starscream then turned and walked out of the room.
"All of that…all of that is going to happen? B-But…why did Optimus, I mean why…" Areia had tears in the corner of her eyes.
"I am sorry that this is to happen to you my dear. However, after these bad events there will be happiness for you and the others." Said Vector Sigma as Areia found herself in that place of white light. "You can't tell anyone what you saw…I'm afraid it is not for them to know. I have shown you these events in the hopes that you will help your friends overcome their grief."
Vector Sigma seemed to sigh. "You'll have to go back now…your friends are starting to worry about you. Please help them when the time comes…" Areia was engulfed in white light and then saw the faces of Don, Carl, and Sideswipe staring down at her in worry.
"Areia are you okay?" Asked Don as Areia sat up. She looked at the ground for a moment and then embraced them all in a hug, even though she could only hug Sideswipe's finger, as she started sobbing. The three looked at her oddly and then embraced her back.
Skywarp: Does this mean I'll be a character later on, and that I can turn human like Screamer?
Alc: Yes, yes it does.
Skywarp: I love you! (Glomps Alc)
Alc: Yeah yeah, I love you too…now please let go I can't breathe. (Skywarp lets go of Alc)
Don: That's right you better let go of her! (Menacingly pounds his fist into his palm)
Areia: Oh Don…what was that you and Carl were saying in the cave?
Don: Oh…that…heh heh…(He backs away slowly) Well you see…um…gotta go! (He starts running away with Areia chasing him)
Sideswipe: Oh-kay?
Alc: Indeed. Ahem, anyways like I said at the beginning of the chapter if you'd like to draw art for any of my stories please tell me and give me a link in your review so that I can see your pictures. I'd really like to see how you all envision my characters. So please READ AND REVIEW! And don't worry I'll try to update soon…especially "A Bot and a Girl" I promise.
