Infiny: Ah, boredom… well, I've just been looking at all those cliché fics and decided to do one for myself. Yes, it's kinda like "OHMIGOD! I'M IN YGO!" fic, 'cept that I'm doing this with some slight twists (like the fact that the character is not me)

I don't own YGO nor do I own Evos (20 points to whoever can guess who he really is and what Anime/Game that he's from)

She was dreaming, she was sure of it… She was floating, behind her was a twist of wavy purples and blue hues. "Nrrhg…" the girl stirred. "Where am I?" She spoke into the strange void.

"You are… dreaming…" A silhouette of man, basked in shadows, answered her. He faded into view before her. All she could see was his outline against the purple and blue background that suggested he was dressed in a robe and a bit of silver about his head. "This is your subconscious…" Funny. When he spoke, he seemed to be no older than 20.

"Who… are you?" She asked dazedly, somehow managing to find footing on the omitted ground.

"I have no name, I am merely the Epitome Voice of Shadows…" His voice, she realized, echoed somewhat eerily around her.

" 'Epitome Voice of Shadows'? That's a bit long… How about Evos?" She asked, prompting a nickname for the vague figure.

He tilted his head fondly, "… Evos?" He tasted the name on his lips and nodded, "I suppose it will work for now..." Evos suddenly straightened and turned away from her. "But there is a reason you have been brought here… to this distant corner of your mind. You have been chosen for a task; however you will not wake up until you have completed it." He spoke softly, although the slight echo amplified his voice just enough so that she could clearly hear him.

"Why?" She asked uncertainly, and she could see Evos turn towards her once again.

He shrugged, "I am the voice, I merely do the talking…" Evos spoke in a louder voice, apparently his normal tone. He seemed to almost smile as she nodded and took the response as an answer.

"So, err… what kind of task will it be, Evos?" She asked, trying to get more information from the mysterious entity.

"An interesting one, no doubt…" Evos said to her. He was smiling, now. She couldn't see it, but she could /feel/ it. "You'll be entering a dream world, based upon you're last thoughts before you fell into your-… subconscious," He told her. Her brows furrowed, she disliked that pause. But before she could ask another thing he interrupted her, his voice falling back into its soft nature. "You should be off. Many people will worry if you do not complete this task in the period of 10 hours…" He was right, she couldn't wake up until she completed the task.

"Alright, Evos… Mission commence," She said. Evos nodded and the void began glowing a bright white. She took this opportunity to catch a glimpse of him. He looked about 19, with silvery shoulder-length hair. He also seemed to have a dark shadow over his eyes… a black blindfold, was it? But she couldn't confirm it because the light intensified enough so she had to close her eyes.

Infiny: Harhar…. I know what you're saying "O dear god! Not another fic! Update your old ones~!" I will, well… the ones I want to. I'll try to update this and my KH fic on a regular basis while I go and update my fics from the oldest to the newest, Secrets will probably be updated on a semi-regular basis. So there. If it doesn't get updated, I either abandoned it or have Writer's block.

Also! The point system will be for my new fics (FO and this one so far), it's just a small bonus, if you get around 200 points, I'll (attempt to) draw you a picture or something. Maybe write a oneshot in your honor… (it won't be THAT long…)
