PROLOGUE:
"Today we will be brewing a particularly difficult potion, that will undoubtably be on your N.E.W.Ts next year. Sienia is a potent healing potion, able to rid the body of infectous desieses, and posionous substances; it can heal puntured lungs, and damaged blood vessles among other things," Snape announced to the class, the ingrediants and procedure appearing on the board as he spoke. He lectured for twenty minutes, then let his sixth year Gryffindor/Slytherin class free to wreak havok on his classroom.
Neville looked into his couldron with disdain; it was supposed to be purple about now, but what he was looking at was an opaque white. Grimacing with the thought of yet another zero, he tossed a glance at Snape; seeing that the professor was bent over Pansy's couldron he waddled to the back of the room where Hermione was nearly finished with her potion. Harry looked at Neville's couldron out of the corner of his eye and stirred his own cautiously, praying that the cloudy mixture didn't blow up, and wondering why Snape accepted Neville into his N.E.W.T course.
"Hermione my potion is-"
"Longbottom!" Snape screamed suddenly, getting two steps from Pansy's station before Neville's unattended potion blew up all over Harry Potter. There was a miraculous swirl of brillent colors and the drops of potion froze midair.
"Everyone under the desks!" Severus demanded sharply. His students may not like him, but they knew a command when they heard one and immediatly dove under the tables. Harry remained frozen in the center of a sphere of wind and whisps of white, his body radiating colors. Severus watched in horror as the sphere suddenly began to pulse.
"Out! Quickly, evacuate the room!" The noise level in the room rose to a panic as students rushed toward the door; wind filled the room and papers were flying everywhere. Just as the first students reached the door, it slammed shut tight and wouldn't open.
"Okay, everyone stay down and protect your heads!" The professor shouted over the rising winds. Some now crying, the students huddled against the wall with their arms thrown over their heads. Snape turned cautiously back to the disaster area that had become his classroom. He watched helplessly as the sphere began to glow golden-white then suddenly collapsed on itself and was gone, taking the Boy Who Lived With it.
