Note: Sorry for taking forever with this, I have run out of ideas for it. So please enjoy. Things will appear kinda out that's because I'm trying. Give me credit for that K?

After sensing the shards and finding the sources Sesshomaru won't let the shards go unless he has them.

"You might as well go back to the rock you came out from under because those shards are staying with us." Inuyasha says holding his sword in front of him.

"Why is it every time I come to battle with you, you think you're going to win?" Sesshomaru says narrowly staring at him.

"You wanna walk behind the talk?" Inuyasha says getting angry.

"Well then prepare to be annihilated." Sesshomaru says wheeling his sword.

"Oh and that's suppose to scare me?" Inuyasha asks looking his sword over. "Where'd you get that? An old antique store?"

Sesshomaru says nothing, but charges towards Inuyasha. He jumps and brings his sword down, but instead Inuyasha blocks him with his sword.

"Give up now and avoid humiliating yourself in front of your little girlfriend." Sesshomaru says trying to bring his sword through the tetsegia.

"For the freaking last time, HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND." Kagome yells from behind the bushes. Sango Yanks her down.

"It's the same thing with you every time isn't it?" Inuyasha says pushing back and throwing Sesshomaru back. "She is not my girlfriend, but she is worthy."

"Humans are all useless aspects of life." Sesshomaru says putting away his sword.

"And you're at the top of the list." Inuyasha says breathing heavily.

Sesshomaru suddenly senses something and turns in it's direction.

"Unfortunately I can't stay and fight with you, something much more important is at stake here." Sesshomaru says turning to leave.

"What's more important then seeing your head on the end of stick? Pretty good sight to me." Inuyasha says smiling.

Sesshomaru grunts and keeps on walking, not looking back.

"Well at least he is out of the way." Miroku says emerging from the bushes with Kagome and Sango.

"Ok one question, what the hell is so important about these shards that I have to risk being killed for?" Kagome asks.

"As you may know they harness great power and whom ever posses the pieces or the entire jewel has great in their possession." Inuyasha says turning to Kagome. "Naraku is keeping you here to get them from you."

"Well this much I know, but the thing is why now?" Kagome asks looking down at the necklace. "I have been crossing over with them before now."

"He's petty." Sango says with her eyes closed.

"He's not petty, He's stupid." Inuyasha says. "We are going to get you home and you're taking those shards with you."

"But how are we going to break the curse and get me home?" Kagome asks now looking at Inuyasha.

"Real good question, if we knew what kinda curse he put on it, then we would know how to break it, but instead we are left guessing." Miroku says taping his staff on the ground.

"Well whatever it is, then we have to get it off." Kagome says falling to her knees. "I'm starting to worry."

"Well at least until we can get her to safety until we figure something out." Sango says as Miroku nods.

In modern Day Japan*

Souta is in Kagome's room, still waiting for her to come home. Mrs. Higurashi, whom happens to walk by, sees him in there.

"Souta what are you doing in your sister's room?" Mrs. Higurashi asks as Souta turns to her.

"Oh still waiting." Souta says looking back at the TV.

"You aren't going through her things are you?" Mrs. Higurashi asks.

"No mom I'm not. What can she have that I would be interested in?" Souta says smiling.

:::::Besides her diary::::::

Mrs. Higurashi walks on past to her room. Souta continues to think long and hard as to why his sister isn't home yet.

"I hope nothing happened to her. I wish there was a way of communicating with her from over here." Souta says looking out the window.

In the feudal era*

"My mom is probably worried sick about me." Kagome says walking slowly.

"She knows when you come over here, sometimes it's hard to get back on time." Inuyasha says walking on her right.

"I know Souta is worried." Kagome says looking up at sky. "I wish there was a way for us to communicate from here."

"He's probably wishing that same thing." Sango says slightly turning to Kagome.

"Probably." Kagome says now looking down at her feet.

"We'll get you some place safe until we figure out what that curse is and how to get rid of it." Sango says.

Where is this safety spot and why does the chapter end here? I'm sick that's why ^_^, but none the less I hope you all enjoyed this chapter.
