Author's notes: This being fanfiction, the standard disclaimers apply. After trying ( unsuccessfully ) to write a poem about mosquito larvae, I came up with the following H/Dness. If you're reading, do tell me what you think of it.

only so many loves/hates/fucks and surreptitious

is not silver &looks even worse messed up;
your sneer doesn't turn me on;
i could break your jaw with a kiss
and you would

crack

shatter like glass.
but i would keep your pieces, afterwards.

&you'll know i'm so much better than you,
&you'll pay, you'll pay, you truly will,
right after i've convinced myself that
there's no harm done, this is one of the better
uses you could put that filthy mouth to.

&there is no 'us'
&who's your daddy now?
&i don't need this.
