"Appreciated Gifts"

Ino has this thing where she likes to give her friends little gifts. She makes Chouji cookies sometimes, and he always eats them, even though both of them know they taste terrible. She appreciates the effort. Shikamaru never touches them, but that's okay. She gives him rock candy instead, which he is secretly a sucker for but won't admit to liking.

She gave Sakura a ribbon once, but Sakura gave it back. That's not something Ino appreciates. Nor does she appreciate being ignored in favor of Sasuke.

Today Ino bought ramen for Naruto.

She kind of understands how he feels.
