"Deja Vu"

A/N: Random act of silliness. Forgive me.

Disclaimer: ...whatever.

Gunblades clashed in the heat of battle though the rain that poured fell upon the opponents' skin was cold and chilled, yet warmed with the degree of their flesh, the liquid mixing with their already formed perspiration. *Clash Clash* the gunblades sounded. A clash so powerful, the dark-haired cadet was forced to stumble backward.

Regaining his stance immediately, he twirled the weapon to give a subconscious boost of confidence to his floundering ego, and charged toward the light-haired cadet.

However, this male was ready with a fire spell, which swirled around his open palm. A sinister grin touched upon his lips as the realization within Squall's eye was noticed. He let forth the burst of the orangey red element toward his foe, causing him to fall upon the ground from the sheer force.

In a daze, the brunette attempted to stand, but grimaced once he saw the assailant standing over him, gunblade raised, ready to strike.

"Seifer, wait a minute!" The brunette pleaded in a haste.

Seifer paused, gunblade in mid-air as he stared at the boy with curiosity. "Dammit Squall, this is my moment of triumph. I'm about to slice that beautiful little face of yours! The blood running down your face in rivers will be such a vision of art..."

Squall snorted and sat on the drenched earth with his legs folded beneath him. "That's the thing. Your toy will be tarnished with my blood."

Seifer thought about it for a moment before lowering his weapon, petting the blade affectionately, "True...but, it would have been fun, and you would have looked morbidly attractive..."

"You know what else, Almasy? If you did that, I would have done the same to you, on the opposite side of your face, and we would have become eternal rivals. However, I would have gotten into SeeD, and your lameass would have flunked the test because you THOUGHT you had won this little sparring match, thought you had real talent in battle when in reality, you just fight dirty. You would have also become a Sorceress' knight, or more properly named, a lapdog, done her dirty work which was trying to destory the SeeD's while she attempted to take over the world, in which she was really beginning possessed by another Sorceress who wanted to accomplish Time Compression, IN WHICH case you would have failed each time miserably. However, the main focus is going to be upon me and some bimbo named Rinoa whom you previously dated apparently though it's never really specified when and where you met, and for how long you actually dated before she comes into my life and starts throwing herself at me. I somehow fall in love with her overnight, but all in all, me, Quistis, Zell, Selphie, and some dude named Irvine, who happen to be my childhood friends along with YOU, defeat some evil Sorceress from the future named Ultimecia which in the epilogue that's never mentioned we suspect to be Rinoa in the future because sometime down the road she becomes a Sorceress, in which I don't think anyone fully understands. In the end, I make out with Rinoa, everyone else seems happy though I couldn't care less because I'm too busy sucking Rinoa's face, and you fish in Balamb with Raijin and Fujin, and you three seem to lead a generally boring ass life because your losers who were banned from Balamb and generally everywhere else on the Continent..."

Seifer stared at the boy in wonder. "Seriously?"

Squall paused for several dramatic moments. "...April Fools."

"Bastard! Interrupting my moment of triumph with Falsehood! Die!" He slashes Squall across the face.

"Fucker!" Squall rises and does the same, to the opposite side.

Both collapse to the ground, fading into the world of subconsciousness slowly...

Seifer blinks, even as crimson taints his vision, "Dude...what Deja Vu..."

The end

A/N: There was no real point to this. Act of randomness. Don't expect a sequel.
