Hi everybody! Wow, don't you just LOVE this time of year? I know I do!

KTF: ...Ty, did you eat some of your sugar cookies?

Maybe...ANYWAYS! Well, as KTF said, I made sugar cookies! Which is where I got this fic. Ain't it great?

KTF: Forgive her. She's listening to the Grinch song.

YOU'RE A MEAN ONE, MR. GRINCH! YOU REALLY ARE A HEEL! YOU'RE AS CUDDLY AS A CATUS, YOU'RE AS CHARMING AS AN EEL, MR. GRINCH!

KTF: Kami save us all. Anyway, since Ty is *ahem* having difficulties, I'll finish the opening notes. Like always, TAITO pairing!

NOW who's hyper?

KTF: I found your cookies.

WHAT? MY COOKIES! *chases KTF*

Ryamon: *sweatdrops* Well, written to bring you all some holiday cheer. Hope you enjoy! Written in Tai's POV, but then again-

Thanks Ryamon. Yea, it's in Tai's POV. I mean, it's so easy for me to write in his POV since he and I are so much alike. Well, moving on! Read bottom notes I guess.

"ARGH! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!" I cried out in frustration. I all wanted was to make some sugar cookies. IS THAT SO WRONG? I looked around at the mess in my kitchen. I had flour strewn all over the place, egg shells lined up on the counter, and my bottle of vanilla extract was leaking onto the floor.

"Ah, this is hopeless!" I vented and broke another egg. Just then, the damn doorbell rang. Sighing, I jumped over the mess on the floor and walked into the entry way. I wrenched it open agitatedly.

"What do you want?" I asked, not even looking at the person as I brushed some powder from my hair. I heard a snort, followed by a slight chuckle.

"Nice apron, Tai." My head snapped up, and my brown eyes met ocean blue ones.

"Matt?" I squeaked, and then cleared my throat.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Just on my way home, and decided to stop by." He replied as he stepped inside.

"But, don't you live-"

"Don't question me Tai." He replied. I shrugged, and felt my face go about as pink as my apron.

"So what are you doing, Yagami?" he asked me as he sat down on the couch, flipping through a music magazine.

"Just, baking." I replied self-conciously. There way no way in hell I was going to tell him WHAT the cookies were for. Matt burst into laughter again.

"You? Baking? Oh my god." He continued laughing.

"Oh shut up. I'm not THAT bad." I lied to him, placing my hands on my hips. He sat up and looked over my shoulder.

"Oh, so you meant to set your kitchen on fire then." He said casually, going back to his magazine. I whirled around and let out a yelp. Black smoke was now coming out from the kitchen. I raced into the kitchen and used the fire extinguisher. Matt ambled after me.

"And I'm going to guess that you meant to make those cookies, extra done?" he teased me. I looked at the cookies and sighed. They had burned up completely. I tossed them into the trash and collapsed at the table. I banged my head on it a few times before Matt stopped me.

"Jeeze, calm down, Tai. It's no big deal." He said. I grumbled under my breath and lifted my head.

"Well, it WOULDN'T be if they weren't meant to be GIVEN to someone!" I snapped, and immediatedly realized my one mistake. Matt raised his eyebrow in question.

"Who they for?" he asked me, sitting down next to me.

"Nobody of your concern." I said nonchalantly. Like I'd ever tell him, jeeze.

"Sora?" his lips quirked into a smile.

"No." I said quickly. Although, it seemed to be a little TOO quickly.

"You are such a liar, Yagami." His grin spread even more across his perfect face. 'Damn it! That's not it at all.' I thought to myself.

"No, they're not for Sora, Matt." I tried to explain. He rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Sure, whatever. But since you're so stubborn about your 'girlfriend', I won't pry." He grinned again. His nose wrinkled though, as some more smoke entered his nose.

"Although, maybe I should help." He said cautiously. I nodded and stood up.

"That'd be good." I winced as some egg shells fell from the counter.

"Well then, let's get started." He said, grabbing a blue apron.

"Tai, can I ask you something?"

"Sure." I replied shakingly.

"What's with the pink apron?" he asked, voice hinted with amusement.

"Oh. Um...I don't know?" I grinned uneasily. He shook his head and tied his apron on.

"I won't ask." He replied.

"Now, let's start off with cleaning up the first mess you made." He suggested, throwing the egg shells into the trash. I nodded and started sweeping up the flour. He washed some of the bowls I had previously, um..used, and placed them back on the counter. He started to walk across the kitchen when he slipped and fell. Rather loudly, I might add.

"Matt! You ok?" I asked him, helping him sit up.

"Yea, I guess. Except my shirt is now sticky." He said. I looked him over, and gasped involuntarily.

"Matt, you're bleeding." I showed him hiw elbow. He looked at it, and shrugged.

"Ah well. Not like it hasn't happened before." He said and stood up.

"Be right back." I said and dashed into my bathroom. I opened all the cabinets looking for some bandages.

"You idiot. You hurt Matt. Baka!" I cursed myself quietly as I found what I was looking for. I walked back out into my living room where Matt was sitting on the couch. Without a shirt.

'Ok, get a grip, Tai. Not like you've never seen Matt without a shirt before.' I scolded myself, but I could still feel my pants get tighter. Damn.

"Come here." I sat down and grabbed his arm. I bandaged up his elbow quickly.

"And you aren't wearing a shirt why?" I asked him casually, hoping he couldn't sense how nervous I was. But then again, around Matt, that's like hoping that a shark doesn't sense you're bleeding.

"Because there was all of this sticky crap all over the back." He replied. I blushed again, remembering the spilled vanilla extract.

"Sory about that." I laughed nervously, placing my hand behind my hand.

"Don't worry about it." He replied, rising from the sofa and sauntering back into the kitchen. He grabbed some ingredients and a bowl. Within a matter of minutes, he had new batter made.

"How'd you do that?" I asked him, gapping at the work he did.

"I've done this plenty of times. You just have to know what you're doing." He winked at me and placed the dough into the fridge.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"You're suppose to put them in the fridge for a while before you bake them." He replied. I sighed and shook my head.

"That was my first mistake." I said, rolling my eyes. He grinned and walked back out into the living room. He turned on my TV, and then chucked a controller at me.

"Up for a game?" he asked me, flipping on my Playstation 2.

"Sure. Nothing else to do." I replied, sitting next to him. He went through all the things and set it up for two-player racing. We stayed like that for a while, just messing around, causing me to forget my predicament. Until he paused the game. I stopped playing and looked at him.

"What?" I asked, knowing he wanted to ask me a question.

"What's it like to kiss someone?" he asked. I sat there and blinked. Whatever I had been expecting, it certainly wasn't that.

"Excuse me?"

"What's it like to kiss someone?" he repeated quietly.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked. He shrugged and dropped the controller.

"I don't know. Just curious you know?" he shifted around to face me.

"Wait, you've never kissed anybody?" I asked in disbelief. I mean, with all the girls I see hanging all over him, Matt was the last person I'd expect never to have been kissed. He shook his head slowly, and avoided my gaze.

"Hey, don't worry about it. It's no big deal." I grinned at him. He shrugged and got up.

"Come on, if you really want them made." He said and disappeared into the kitchen. I jumped up and trotted after him. He had removed the dough from the fridge and set it on the counter. I grabbed a cookie cutter from behind me.

"So what did you want done with these?" he asked me. I slid a star-shaped cookie cutter to him.

"Cut and bake?" I asked hopefully. He shrugged and nodded.

"Whatever you want." He replied and started cutting and placing stars on the cookie sheet. I took out a candy cane shaped cutter and started cutting my own. Matt hadn't said anything, just cutted the cookies in silence. AND IT WAS BUGGING ME! So, I decided to...get his attention. I rolled up a ball of dough, and chucked it at him. It collided right into the side of his head. He looked up, and blinked. I smiled innocently and went back to my work. Suddenly, the dough ball came flying right back and hit my ear. I looked up and saw Matt smirking while cutting.

"Oh, is that how you want to play, huh?" I smirked right back and threw a new ball. He grinned evilly and stood up. He walked over to me, and dumped a cup of flour on my head.

"Oh, HELL NO!" I cried and jumped up. Matt stuck his tongue out and started to walk away. I seized an egg and threw it, connecting with the back of his head. It broke and the insides ran all the way down, through his hair and down his back. He turned around and tackled me while I was laughing. Note to self, never let your guard down in the middle of a war. We wrestled around for a while, causing more flour and dough to fly. It finally ended when I crashed into the table. I stood up and popped the cookies into the oven. I brushed myself off and pulled Matt off of the floor. It was quiet for those 6 minutes the cookies baked. The buzzer went off and I pulled the cookies out. Matt got out of his chair and walked over to me.

"Well, you don't need me anymore. So I'll take off. See ya later, Yagami." Matt said quickly as he walked out into the entrance way. I stood there, watching him, before I finally got a grip. I swiped up all the cookies and put them in a tin. I wrote out a tag as fast as I could and ran out after him.

"Matt, wait up!" I called. He had almost reached the elevator by this point.

"What?" he turned around slowly. I jogged up to him and thrusted the tin into his arms.

"Merry Christmas." I panted. He raised an eyebrow and opened the tin, revealing the cookies I just made.

"Tai, I-" But he was cut off.

"Just eat one and tell me what you think." I told him. He obliged silently and chewed on one of the cookies.

"Not bad, Yagami. But, you did have some help." He smiled slyly.

"Oh shut up." I laughed.

"But seriously, now that you know they're fit for human consumption, you can give them to Sora." He told me.

"Who said anything about Sora?" I asked him.

"But Tai, I thought that-" but he was soon cut off. By my lips placing themselves lightly onto his. I broke the kiss and licked my lips.

"Tastes like sugar." I winked. He blinked and rubbed his lips.

"What was that for?" he asked me. I didn't reply, but simply pointed up. He looked above him, and spotted the mistletoe we were under.

"So that's what it's like to kiss someone." He said slowly. I nodded and smiled.

"Yup. Wanna try it again?" I asked him. This time he nodded. I pushed my lips onto his, tasting the sugary sweetness of my cookies. He responded after a while, deeping the kiss. Unfortunately, we had to break apart for air.

"So, now what?" I asked him. He shrugged. And then smacked his palm against his forehead.

"AH CRAP!" he yelled.

"What?"

"I didn't get you a Christmas present!" he moaned. I chuckled to myself, and grabbed his hand.

"All I want for Christmas is you. I love you. Alyways have." I told him. He shook his head and grinned.

"Are you sure you're just not on a sugar high?" he smirked. I licked his lips, tasting more sugar.

"Whenever I'm around you, I'm on a sugar high. But I'm sure." I replied.

"Nice." He said, and kissed me again. And as we deepened the kiss, it lightly began to snow.
