Tom walked into his house in San Francisco where he B'Elanna and their daughter Mirral lived.

Tom taught flight school at the academy, and B'Elanna taught advanced engineering skills. The two of them were very happy in their home. It had been two years since Voyager had returned from the Delta Quadrant. Harry had moved in down the street form Tom and B'Elanna, but he was on a deep space mission.

Harry had finally made Lieutenant, Tom and B'Elanna were Lieutenant Commanders in spite of Tom's demotion years back.

Tuvok had gotten his brain treatment on Vulcan and was working on the Starship Calvin under Captain Chakotay.

Chakotay and Seven had gotten married and Seven worked on the Calvin still without a rank, but Starfleet permitted it. Seven had become very popular among the doctors at Starfleet medical. The Doctor was extremely popular among doctors all over the quadrant.

The Doctor had finally chosen a name, Doctor Lowell. He had made several medical breakthroughs in the Delta Quadrant and wasn't stopping.

The Captain had become the Admiral, she also taught at the academy, she taught Directives 101, she talked about the Prime Directive, the Temporal Prime Directive and all the other rules she broke all the time. Admiral didn't live far from Tom and B'Elanna either.

Tom and B'Elanna kept in touch with everyone, and they had a reunion every year.

Tom walked into the kitchen where Ayala, the babysitter, was making a snack. "Hello, sir," he said with a full mouth and a big welt on his cheek.

"What happened to you?" Tom asked.

"She threw a shuttle at me," Ayala said.

"I'll talk to her about that, why aren't you disciplining her?"

"I need comfort food," Ayala said a little embarrassed.

Tom raised one eyebrow in a passable impression of their Vulcan friend Tuvok.

Tom walked in the living room to see his daughter on the floor playing with shuttles. Flying them about, landing them, crashing them, throwing them across the room. Tom reached for the ones that had been tossed to the other side of the room, they were the Delta Flyer and a Class2.

When Tom came in sight of his daughter, she looked up at him, "Hi Daddy!" she squealed.

"Hi Pumpkin," he replied sweetly. Tom sat down his legs fully extended. He picked up Mirral by the waist and flew her into his lap, facing him. She giggled.

He smiled in return. Tom gently grabbed Mirral's largest toe, wiggling the toe he said, "This little Klingon went to battle." Mirral giggled.

Tom grabbed the second toe, gently shook it saying, "This cowardly Klingon stayed home."

Mirral giggled some more.

In a similar fashion he reached for her third toe, wiggled it, "This little Klingon had blood pie."

Mirral was laughing no stop now. Tom grabbed the fourth toe, he gently shook it and said, "This little Klingon had none."

"Oh, pour Kingon," Mirral said sadly. "I like bood pie."

"No you don't," Tom said in a "matter of fact" way, but gently to his daughter.

"Oh," she said even sadder.

Tom quickly had to get to the last verse, he shook the littlest toe, saying, "This little Klingon said 'P'TaQ!' all the way home." Tom walked his fingers up her stomach and chest and beeped her nose.

Mirral was laughing again. Wow, the minds of children so easily entertained.

Tom pulled a box from behind his back, and opened it. It was a scale sized Voyager, with action figures. The ship was two feet tall. The decks unattached from each other. The action figures were too big for the ship, but oh well. There was the Captain with famous Janeway bun and death glare. There was a little Chakotay with shoe polish black hair. A stern looking Tuvok with cocked eyebrow. Then there was a cocky looking Tom with the 7th season hairstyle. A B'Elanna with believable holographic stomach alterations, for pregnancy. Then the famous Harry with. Himself. A little plastic, not hologram, The Doctor with little mobile emitter. There was a Seven had the light blue suit. Neelix with chefs had and apron, and finally Kes with long wavy hair.

Mirral was thrilled. She picked up the figure of her father and held it in her hand. She looked at her dad, then the figure. Repeating the two motions, she was perplexed. After a minute or two of this she gave up and started playing with B'Elanna, Tom, Harry, and the Captain.

She happily giggled. Tom reached into his bag and pulled out a little baby with forehead ridges and handed it to Mirral. "It's you."

Her mouth dropped to the floor as she examined the figure.

Tom and Mirral played with the new toy when Mirral decided to play with the shuttles again.

Tom and Mirral were playing with shuttles when B'Elanna got home.

B'Elanna walked over to her daughter and husband. She sat down with them and picked up a Class6 shuttle.

"Mommy," Mirral squealed.

"Hello sweetheart."

"Hi, B'Elanna," Tom said giving B'Elanna a kiss.

"Hi," then to Mirral, "What did Daddy get you?"

Mirral showed her mother the toys, B'Elanna laughed.

They continued to play with the shuttles and with Voyager.
