Blue Eyes!
Tea's POV
Sitting in school listening to my teacher always did seem to bore me somehow. I have no idea how I kept my grades up; I don't even pay attention. As the teacher went on to talking about the homework I looked over at my classmates most of them droopy eyes like myself but some were listen intently.
Yugi and Joey were whispering to each other something about duel monsters was my guess. Tristan was asleep next to me, softly snoring, every once in a while I would kick his desk so that the teacher wouldn't catch him asleep. He would look up at me with confusion and then nod thankfully as he noticed the teacher walking by and realized she had said nothing. I would smile then and watch as he fell back asleep. I looked to the front of the room where Seto Kaiba had also sat listen and then drifting to sleep, and suddenly getting a hold of him self and would try listening to the teacher once again. He must have been up late again, I said to my self. He's always up so late, probably doing something for the company going over documents and then trying to finish all his homework. I felt bad for him sometimes, the fact that for a kid he always had to be so grown up, if he wasn't he would lose hold of his company and then he wouldn't be able to support his little brother like he wanted. I sighed when the bell rang finally the day was over. I watched as all my classmates left; somehow I noticed that Kaiba was the first to sprint for the door. I turned to Tristan and slowly shook him awake, he smiled at me, "Is class over?" he asked yawning and stretching his arms. I nodded and he whispered a mere yes, before starting to gather up his things.
"Hey you guys up for the mall?" Joey asked walking over to Tristan and me.
It was Friday and Joey loved going to the mall, he liked to look for hot
chicks as he put it. We all simply liked going because it meant that we
would get to watch every single girl he went up to slap him in the face.
Personal I always thought that Joey was very funny and a wonderful person
to be around even if he was silly sometimes he would always get serious if
he had to be. I really couldn't comprehend why no one would date him, not
that I would he's one of my best friends it would be a little awkward. I
laughed out load when I though of Joey and I dating and the guys looked at
me a tint of confusion covering their faces.
"Tea? What's with you today?" Tristan asked smiling and leaning over
on my desk.
"You thinking about some guy aren't you!" he said nudging Joey in the side. Joey's face lit up when he heard Tristan's words.
"I knew it, who's the lucky guy Tea?" Joey yelled slamming his hand on my desk.
Which only made me laugh even harder.
"Tea if you really like someone you don't have to tell us." Yugi whispered hurt in his voice.
I sighed, "Guys its nothing, I just have the giggles today is all." I said standing from my seat.
"To the mall?" I said
"To the mall!" the guys said in unison walking behind me to the door.
Suddenly I stopped, "Oh no you guys I can't go to the mall I have to talk to my teacher about the math test I have to retake! Oh gosh I totally forgot, I should have been there by now!" I yelled looking at my watch.
"You better hurry Tea." Yugi said pushing me down the hall in the direction of the mall rooms.
"What about you guys?" I said looking back at Joey and Tristan.
"We'll meet you there ok Tea, what time will you be done?" Joey asked
"I'll meet you there in half an hour ok!" I yelled running down the hall waving to them as I finally found the room I needed.
"That girl is always in a hurry." Yugi said smiling and looking to Joey and Tristan.
"Yeah that's the truth!" Joey smiled, "Well as Tea said, TO THE MALL!" he yelled pointing to the doors and stopping his feet like he was in a march.
"Five dollars says Joey gets slapped more than 10 times!" Tristan yelled running out the door.
"You're on!" Yugi yelled following him.
I glanced at my watch, this wasn't right I was supposed to be late not my teacher. I opened the door and looked out into the hallway, no one in sight. I deiced I would leave, and talk to my teacher about it on Monday. I walked slowly down the hall; I still had 15 mins. until I had to be at the mall.
I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard someone yelling. It was coming from outside, I ran to the window which looked out on the courtyard. There backed into a corner was Suma a girl in my English class. Surrounding her where 4 boys, they looked older maybe out of school or dropouts. I cringed when I saw the state Suma was in. It looked as if she had been punched in the face, her lip might have been bleeding and she definitely had a cut on her left arm, she was holding on to it as if it would fall at any second. The boys started their approach again. I gasped I had to get help fast.
"Hey, is anyone still here!" I screamed dropping my books and running through the halls.
"Crap!" I couldn't find anyone.
"I need help is anyone there!" I tried one more time, no use. I didn't have time to think twice when I heard Suma scream again. I had to help her! I thought. What do I do God What should I do, I can't just leave her out there I just can't! I found my legs running to the courtyard another scream coming from Suma.
Finally I was face to face with the 4 older boys standing between them and Suma. She was leaning against the wall struggling to stay awake I could tell.
"Sit down!" I ordered her and she did.
"Now as for you, why don't you leave her alone you've done enough, don't you agree." I said pointing to Suma.
I watched as the boys looked at each other, I quickly scanned them for weapons one knife, was all I could see before the boy closest to me began to speak.
"Who might you be? A friend of Suma's?"
"It makes no difference who I am, would you please leave now?" I asked making sure that the boy with the knife was standing his ground.
"And what if I told you that we're not leaving yet? What if I said thanks to you, you're now apart of this mess?"
I panicked I wasn't expecting them to try and hurt me too. "Apart. apart of what?" I asked I mentally cursed myself I was showing them that they were intimidating me. Not good.
"Apart of this!" Suddenly the boy pulled out a gun, holding it straight at my face.
"Oh my god!" I backed away, my eyes becoming large at the scene. He has a gun. I can't run from that, I can't dodge that, "NO Please don't shoot!"
"It's too late girly you should have thought about what you were doing before you interrupted us!"
I saw his finger go for the trigger. "NO PLEASE DON'T!"
"Gardner! GET DOWN!" That was the last thing I heard, and the last thing I saw was blue.
