Erutis had never planned on liking anyone "in that way." She was a knight for a reason, after all. Oh, sure, maybe she'd have a few lovers along the way, but she was never going to fall IN love, never going to get married, never going to get all mushy and doe-eyed and soppy about it. Not like those girls who swooned over boys and talked about nothing else but having babies and keeping house for some leech of a husband.

Technically she still hadn't done anything like that, but all the same . . .
