Meet Goka

Prologue

Disclaimer: Don't own any of it but Goka. Simple as that.

Summary: (Since doesn't leave much room for me to put all I want in my summary I am going to wrap up the rest here. ) Goka is Goten's twin sister. When an accident happens and everyone thinks she has died when she is really with 17 recovering from amnesia. When she recovers, she and the rest of the Z gang have to fight Buu and find someway to beat him. But will she and Trunks fall for each other in the process? Rated PG13 for later chapters. Will be slight angst at the end…only "slightly" though.

Chichi's screams almost seemed to shake the entire hospital. "You can do it Mrs. Son, just a few more pushes!" The nurse said to her excitedly." Chichi screamed again as the pain coursed through her body with each push. "I CAN'T PUSH ANYMORE!" She screamed with tears streaming down her face.

Before long another cry was heard throughout the hospital room as the baby was finally delivered. One of the nurses held the baby as Chichi continued to cry out in pain. "What is happening?" One of the other nurses in the room asked, "She should have calmed down some by now…right doctor?"

"There can only be one reason for this." He muttered as he positioned himself for another delivery. "Twins."

Gohan was sitting patiently in the waiting room for someone to bring him some news of his mother. He winced every time he heard one of her screams. "I hope mom is ok in there." He muttered.

Bulma was sitting across the room with Trunks in her arms as she glanced over at Gohan, "Everything will be fine Gohan, your mother is a strong woman." Bulma stated with a smile as Gohan shuffled nervously in his seat.

One of the nurses burst out of the delivery room and jogged down the hallway. This only served to make Gohan even more nervous. After a few moments the nurse returned with an extra blanket and was about to return back into the room when Gohan jumped up and ran to her. "Hey…is my mom ok? Has my brother been born yet? Is he ok? Tell me something will you?" Gohan asked quickly and nearly screamed the last line as he grabbed his hair anxiously.

The nurse looked at him and tried to answer each of his questions sufficiently, "Your mother is doing fine, yes he has been born and he is very healthy…" Gohan smiled at this and calmed down some, "…but it's not over yet." The nurse finished.

Gohan looked edgy again, "What? What do you mean it isn't over? You said my brother had been born and my mother was fine." Bulma also looked up at this new development and walked over to hear the news.

"Something we weren't expecting," The nurse smiled, "your mother is having twins."

Gohan's mouth fell wide open as he stared at her in shock, the nurse turned to go back into the room, "If you'll excuse me; I must get back to work." She smiled and gently shut the door.

Gohan was not paying attention to her in the least. He just stared straight ahead at the delivery room door, "Twins?" He muttered. And then he fainted.

Bulma gasped. "Gohan! Vegeta come over here quick and help me move him to the couch!

Vegeta who had remained quiet in a corner until now made his way over to Gohan and silently picked him up and placed him on the couch.

Bulma walked over to Gohan and sat next to him on the couch. "Twins? Vegeta will she be able to handle giving birth to Saiyan twins?" She asked as she looked up at him with concern etched on her features.

Vegeta looked at his mate. "I don't know." He mumbled uncertainly, "Kakarot's mate is strong for a human female, she will probably be fine."

Bulma still looked worried as she looked back down at Gohan and gently stroked his hair.

Vegeta watched his mate as his thoughts wondered about this new turn of events.

His thoughts were interrupted as a nurse walked out of the room carrying something small in a blue blanket. He looked closer to realize that it was a baby. Vegeta stared at the nurse as she walked away down the hall gently carrying the baby to the nursery.

Another stream of cries coming from within the room signaled that it wouldn't be long before another baby would be coming out. Vegeta went back to watching his mate and decided to abandon the thought for the moment. Only time would tell the outcome.

Chichi was growing tired with every push; she felt she was near to unconsciousness now. The pain was becoming more than she could bear. "You have to stay with us Mrs. Son." The Doctor urged.

Chichi pushed again as another cry rang throughout the room. "We have the head!" The doctor announced. "You're doing great Mrs. Son, just a few more pushes and then it will all be over." The Doctor said. Chichi took a few deep breaths and forced herself to make another push. "Good Mrs. Son...just one more."

She took a few more deep breaths and prepared herself for the final push. Two ear-piercing screams cut through the air as Chichi's delivery was finally over. She looked up with clouded vision to see the doctor holding her baby while he pointing out some things to the nurse next to him and muttering something to her before she finally gave into the exhaustion that consumed her.

Another nurse walked out of the room, this time with a pink bundle and Bulma watched as the nurse glanced at Gohan's sleeping form smiling before making her way down the hall.

Vegeta also watched as the doctor walked out of the room pulling off his mask and sighing. "Mrs. Son is fine. She is resting right now, it was a very hard delivery as I'm sure you probably heard. The baby boy is very healthy..." He announced.

Bulma let out a sigh of relief, but then she remembered, "And what about the other baby?" She asked.

The doctor sighed again as he rubbed his brow. "The second baby seems to be a little smaller than the other, we are checking her vitals for any signs of possible concerns." He said. "I'm sorry, but that is all the information I have at this time and I should go back in and keep a check on Mrs. Son. I will send someone to let you know when we have found anything else out." The doctor said.

"Thank you doctor." Bulma said as he turned and went back inside the delivery room with Chichi.

Gohan began to stir lightly. "Mom." He mumbled as he looked up and saw Bulma. "Bulma….how is she? How is my mom?" Gohan asked her frantically.

Bulma smiled down at him, "She's just fine Gohan. Congratulations, it seems you have a baby brother and sister now."

Gohan sat up slowly, "Are they doing ok too?" He asked.

Bulma looked to Vegeta for the words that she wanted to say. She finally looked back at Gohan, "Your brother is fine, and your sister…well…she was a little smaller than most babies are so they are running some tests on her to make sure everything is going to be ok." She smiled reassuringly. "I know she will be ok Gohan...so don't worry so much."

Gohan smiled half-heartedly and at least tried to seem less worried. "Thanks Bulma."

The monitor bleeped with every beat of the little baby's heart. She lay there resting soundly in the incubator as the nurses watched her making their observations.

"Everything seems to be ok." One nurse said.

"She sure is a strong one." Said the other.

They finished making their reports and left the baby to rest.

Chichi awoke to complete silence in her room. She took a look around at her surroundings and noticed they had moved her to another room. She glanced over and saw Gohan lying on an uncomfortable looking chair asleep. She smiled at him, 'He must have been here for me the whole time.' She thought.

She tried to sit up only to have the pains from her strenuous labor course through her body. She gasped softly then lay back down. That however was enough to wake up Gohan as he sat up sleepily and looked at her. "Mom! You're awake." He stated happily. He slid his chair up a little more as he held her hand gently. "How are you? Can I get you anything?" He asked.

"I'm fine," she said while smiling softly, "Could you look and see if you see the doctor anywhere. I want to see my babies."

Gohan nodded and placed a tender kiss on his mother's cheek before walking out of his mother's room to find the doctor.

A few moments later Gohan returned with not only the doctor, but Bulma, Vegeta and Trunks as well.

The Doctor looked at her, "How are we feeling Mrs. Son?" The doctor asked with a smile.

"I'd be feeling much better if I could see my babies please." She answered softly.

"I'll have a couple of the nurses bring them in as soon as possible." He answered.

"Thank you doctor." She said, before turning her attention to her other visitors. The doctor, taking the hint, decided to leave and give them some privacy.

"Bulma thank you for being here." Chichi said.

"It's no problem. I even managed to keep Vegeta here with me the whole time." She said while winking in Vegeta's direction in the corner. Vegeta grunted in response as he folded his arms.

Chichi let out a soft giggle and then smiled at Vegeta, "Thank you for taking time out of you training to be here Vegeta." Vegeta grunted again and mumbled something about the woman making him go.

At that time, two nurses walked in with two babies, one in a blue blanket and another in a pink blanket. "Which one do you want to hold first mom?" Gohan asked.

"Either one is fine." She said as she reached out her arms. One of the nurses walked forward as they placed the pink bundle in her arms. "You should be very proud ma'am she is a very strong one." The nurse said before taking a step back. Chichi smiled down at her little girl and said, "Just like her father."

The other nurse walked over to Gohan and asked, "Would you like to hold your little brother?"

Gohan looked nervous as he took the blue bundle in his arms gently. "Wow, you're so little." He mumbled while looking at the baby boy in his arms.

The nurses turned to leave and Gohan asked, "So what are their names Mom?"

Chichi sat in thought for a moment, "Well, I had already planned a boys name, but I also I had a girl's name just in case. I was thinking Goten for the boy."

"Goten, I like it." Gohan said to himself while looking at his little brother.

"And the girl?" Bulma asked.

"Well, what would you think of maybe…Goka?" She asked while looking at everyone in the room.

Bulma looked thoughtful, Gohan looked happy, Vegeta looked indifferent, and little Trunks just looked hungry. Bulma smiled at her and nodded, "I think it's a lovely name Chichi." Gohan nodded in agreement.

Chichi smiled, "It's settled then…Goka. My little girl."
