Chapter 1: Revelation
The day had seemed different today. I don’t know how it was, but I knew it was. My solitary nature told me that. I longed to know someone who knew what I felt, someone that understood the resentment that I had towards my father (although I have come to understand and resent him less now that it came right down to it).
The day seemed normal. And quiet, too quiet. I looked up at the sky, wondering what had gone wrong with the days lately. The sky filled with clouds, looking as desolate as my heart. I longed for someone to understand me.
I heard the chit-chat of two women coming from behind me, turning into the side-street. And being the fact that unlike my allies from the Muscle League, I knew nothing of how to attract the opposite gender. I jumped onto the balcony above to get a better view, and to not be recognized.
Three girls showed up. The first girl was taking quick steps to get away from the other two. I recognized one of them, Trixie Maekawa; she was one of Mantaro’s followers. The other, all that I though about her was, She has very pretty eyes. I snapped myself out of it and listened in on the conversation.
“Hey, Enba, wait up! You can’t run off when me and Trixie are speaking to you!”
“Leave me alone, Arisu. I don‘t want to talk to either one of you.”
“But Enba. I didn’t want to offend you or anything. I just wanted to tell you about Robin Mask.” Trixie commented.
“Look, I don’t want to talk about it…” Enba said, crossing her arms. I could tell from where I was that she wasn’t a woman to deal with. And that look, it reminded me of Father’s look, whenever I didn't want to do something, and he really was going to sock it to me if I didn't do what he said.
Wait a minute! Father’s look! That means that… when Father dissapeared. Wait a second... I have a sister!?
I didn’t realize the balcony was falling beneath me as they left to go on with their lives.
……………………………….
It was only by a miracle that I didn’t fall on some stranger. Instead, I made a fool of myself, in front of "pretty eyes". Besides the fact that being the bloke I was that I fell with the balcony in the first place in not full strength to jump off of it, I thought I could make it to that rope hanging nearby. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
"WATCH OUT BELOW!"
"Hey, what's that?" Arisu said, as she and Roxanne were setting having tea below where I was falling.
Please, please let it be the pavement! Not in the middle of that glass table.
Crash! And, that's all I remember before everything went black.
……………………………….
" Is he alright?"
"Hope he is, I brought him to my apartment, now didn't I?"
"Enba, how can you be so mean?"
"Because I can, alright Marie?"
"Enba, come back..."
Those were the words that I heard as I awoke. I couldn't make things out, but I knew right away that I had been on someone's couch for quite a while.
"What, what's going on?" Roxanne watched as Enba stormed off in a very pissed off manner.
"My friend, Enba, she's gone out after her buddy Cho. She accidentally pissed him off earlier, and now she feels bad." She looked like a wreck. "The streets can get very mean at night; I hope nothing bad happens."
I couldn't just lay there. It made me feel bad that I wasn't helping out, especially in finding my possibly half-sister. I didn't even know about her until today, and yet I was concerned. Lousy good-natured DNA. It's so bloody annoying.
"And where do you think you're going?" She gave me a evil look, tossing her long, jet-black hair.
"Where do you think?" I gave her the same evil look. "To track down that stupid woman."
"Why?"
I couldn't tell her the truth, but I could lie about it to other people.
"I know someone who used to know some of her family..."
"What?" Man, this woman's voice is deafening. At least she fell for that big white lie."Well, you can't walk in your condition."
"Yea, I know. But I'm going to talk to her whether you like it or not."
"Well, at least let me drive. If you're wanting to look for her and all..." She shut the door behind me.
Hey, wait a moment! I thought I had that one! She seen right through that lie! I took enough steps out the door that I knew that it'd be hard to look for her without some sort of help. And I wasn't gonna walk around in this condition, especially since my match with stupid Mantaro was tommorrow. Besides, I had lots of explaining to do to Croe anyways for being scarred up before the big match.
I had to knock on the door again, because that bloody broad had done shut the door.
"So, are you coming?"
"Yea," She remarked, grabbing her coat. "Why didn't you ask sooner?"
Grrrr. Women...

Note: For those who don't know who Tamaki is, it's Trixie from the US version. Sorry for the mixup, I'll re-edit her name in this chapter and future chapter so there's no confusion. Secondly, I might switch back and forth between Kevin and Enba, so if I do, it'll have either "Kevin's P.O.V" or vica versa. Thirdly, I've come to find that it's much too difficult to write so as to get Kevin's accent correct, so it may be a little off in the future...
Thanks, and see you soon.
