Caesium

I am the glass full of water.
You are the unstable metal
Thrown into my core.
While other elements crackle
And fizz on the surface,
You shatter my transparency
In an instantaneous violence
Destructive with ecstasy.

You are eroded,
I am shattered and spilt
To thousands of particles.
A majestic tangle,
A beautiful mess.
All diamonds and liquid
Shimmer in this wonderous
Imperfection.
