Chapter One: Just Another Ordinary Day…NOT!
As Captain Jack Sparrow walked out of his favorite pub in Tortuga, The Tavern of the Faithful Bride, a young strumpet ran by, and pushed him right into the path of a speeding carriage. Not seeing Jack, the carriage ran over him, before he could move out of the way. Jack was in too much pain to move even the slightest, and was dying from the damage the wheels of the carriage, and hooves of the horses had done to him.
After running over the pirate captain, the carriage stopped, and the door opened, letting out a woman with pale skin, dark freckles, long dark hair, and brown eyes. She was dressed in white, and had a blinding white-blue light surrounding her.
"You ran me over," Jack said weakly, glancing at the Woman in White.
"Yes, I'm terribly sorry about that, Captain Sparrow," she said in a voice like a flowing stream.
"You got my name right on the first try," Jack said, not able to conceal his surprise.
"Of course. I never make mistakes," the Woman in White said, with a small laugh.
What about runnin' me over?"
"No, that was not a mistake, although I truly am sorry to see you in such pain, but I want you to visit somewhere for me, and the easiest way for you to do it, is to die here, come back to life there, die there, then come back here."
"Oh," replied Jack, not finding anything else to say.
"How much time do I have left?" he asked.
The Woman in White pulled out of thin air a silver pocket watch that had twelve hands, and no numbers, but little planets revolving around the edges.
"You have fifteen seconds," she said.
"That soon?" questioned Jack.
The Woman in White nodded.
"That was quick," he muttered.
The Woman in White counted down the seconds.
"Ten…"
"Nine…"
"Eight…"
"Seven…"
"Six…"
"Five…"
"Four…"
"Three…"
"Two…"
"One."
The glow surrounding the Woman in White spread to cover Jack, and that was the last thing he saw.
In the gold and silver castle in Velecroe, Queen Sunshine was teaching a group of flower fairies to sing Shenandoah when a white-blue glowing ball appeared.
"You are dismissed, thank you," said the young queen in a voice like a silver bell.
Queen Sunshine had pale skin, blue-green eyes, knee length ice-blond hair with natural, regular blonde streaks and was emitting a soft golden glow around her body. Queen Sunshine wore a lavender gown with silver sleeves.
The flower fairies flew out the window to the gardens on the castle grounds. The white-blue glowing orb settled close to the ground and burst, revealing the Woman in White.
"Hello, Iris," said Queen Sunshine, seeing the Woman in White appear.
"Hello, Queen Sunshine. Your helper is on his way," said the Woman in White.
"Good. Who is he?" asked Queen Sunshine.
The Woman in White transformed herself into a small, dull colored songbird.
"Sparrow?" asked Queen Sunshine.
Yes. the Woman in White said, silently.
Goodbye, Queen Sunshine, and good luck.
The Woman in White, now turned bird flew out the window.
"Goodbye, Iris. I hope I have good luck as well," Queen Sunshine called after the bird-woman.
