“Conquest”
The perfect boy to mar the leaf;
Never knew I was a thief.
Wish that I
could truly live,
finally feel
the pain I give.
Sanguinary boy of black,
stabbing daggers in their backs.
I cannot
find any gain
in ending this
eternal pain.
Forever seeking only death;
Always breathing my last breath.
To secede
from all life’s gains,
to cling onto
one of Death’s reins.
I deal with impunity
shadowed pain they’ll never see.
Wishing that
I could atone
for flagrant deeds
my darkness shone.
They always forgive my sin.
Transgression again, again.
Finally,
now I can rest.
In peace, I hope,
in Death’s conquest.
