Yavin 4

Name: Delin Gath
Species: Green Twi’lek
Sex: Male
Age: 22
Type: Jedi Sentinel
Rank: Padawan
Lightsaber Style: One Weapon, Long Blade
Lightsaber Color: Gray

“Delin Gath has learned everything he knows from the Masters on the Jedi Council. Even if they had not taken a personal interest in him, he would still be one of the top students in his class.”

Delin was preparing himself for the start of his day. One of the Masters had promised to show him one or two new abilities that come from the Force and he was eager to learn today’s lesson. Once he was set, he opened the door to his bedroom and instantly noticed that the corridor outside was not the corridor that belonged. From deep within the unknown corridor a strong wind blew directly into his face. As it blew, he got visions of events transpiring far away. Though he wanted to close the door, Delin found that he could not bring himself to do so. However, once the wind died away, he found the strength of will to close the door. After waiting for a few moments, he opened the door again and found that all was right. Shaking his head, he found that he no longer wished to attend his lesson, but rather wished to leave. As he packed for a journey he was not quite sure about, he came to realize that he had set in motion a meeting with Val Gent on Yavin 4.

Name: Kamnik Orrella
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 45
Type: Jedi Consular
Rank: Master
Lightsaber Style: One Weapon, Long Blade
Lightsaber Color: Orange

“Kamnik Orrella has defied the conventions of the Jedi Order his entire life. As a result, it has made him one of it’s most cherished and controversial members.”

Kamnik was helping arbitrate a diplomatic dispute. Both sides were being stingy and greedy about the proceedings and it was beginning to tax even Kamnik’s patience. When he thought he could take no more of the arguing and selfishness, he tapped his hand on the desk for them to quiet. To his amazement, they both froze in place. All Kamnik could do was stare at them in utter disbelief. Then the two diplomats began talking again as if nothing had happened, but their voices were not their own and their conversation was one of harmony. Again, all Kamnik could do was stare. Though he did not recognize the language the two of them were speaking, he understood every word that was uttered. Underneath both of the voices he felt a third. The third voice was speaking directly to him, but he could scarcely understand it, for its words were very cryptic. Then all at once the two diplomats were speaking in their normal voices again and their argument had resumed. Confused, Kamnik stood up from the table, excused himself, and quietly left for his room. “I wonder,” said Kamnik aloud. “What business do I have on Yavin 4 with Seevnir Mordu?”

Name: Seevnir Mordu
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 42
Type: Sith
Rank: Lord
Lightsaber Style: Two Weapon, Short Blade
Lightsaber Color: Red

“Seevnir Mordu will be the next Dark Lord. Without a doubt, he is the most powerful Sith there is.”

Seevnir was overseeing some of the Force training of his Apprentice, Val Gent. Val had thus far proved an ideal Apprentice and Seevnir was quite please with him. He couldn’t help smiling as Val demonstrated his growing mastery over the Force. Then all at once Seevnir felt a great pain in his chest and collapsed to the ground. With great effort, he lifted his head to look at Val only to find that his Apprentice had not noticed his Master’s plight. For the first time in his life, Seevnir did not know what to do. After a few more agonizing seconds of intense pain, Seevnir came to realize that what was happening. Someone more powerful in the Force than anyone he had ever encountered before was calling to him. It was that power that was causing him his pain. Seevnir tried to center his being as the pain became a message to him. Eventually, that message became clear and the pain ceased as quickly as it had started. As he stood with belabored breath he looked at Val, who was now quite aware of his Master’s state. A cruel smile crossed Seevnir’s lips as he considered his Apprentice. “Come, Val,” he said to his Apprentice. “We are leaving. I have a predestined meeting with Kamnik Orrella on Yavin 4 and I don’t want to disappoint him by not showing up.”

Name: Val Gent
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 18
Type: Sith
Rank: Accolyte
Lightsaber Style: One Weapon, Long Saber Staff
Lightsaber Color: Pink

“Val Gent eagerly embraced the ways of the Sith to further his own ends. With Seevnir Mordu as his Master, he is well on his way to realizing power unlike anything he could ever have dreamed of.”

Val was practicing his skills with his Master, Seevnir Mordu, in one of the training rooms. At the moment, Val was using the Force to lift a large dais while he was precariously balanced on top of it. Suddenly, a disruption in the Force caused Val to break his concentration and he came crashing with the dais to the ground. Before he had time to figure out what had happened, Val was violently lifted into the air by a swirling vortex of energy. Inside the vortex, all of Val’s senses abandoned him. However, one thing that he noticed was that somewhere in the back of his mind a voice was calling out to him. It kept repeating a name and place to him over and over again until he became dizzy from the repetition. Then all at once Val once more crashed to the ground violently. Looking over to Seevnir, Val noticed that his Master looked lost in pain. As he began to think back over the last few moments, the words of the voice returned. Val shook his head to try and clear his thoughts. “Why am a supposed to meet Delin Gath on Yavin 4?” he asked himself without finding an answer. “Perhaps my Master will know.”

To be continued...who should/will win their encounter?
