They say I'm a hero. Maybe I am. Maybe I did it all, saved the day, came out stronger than ever before. Or.

I didn't save them all. Maybe I could have, but I didn't. I didn't.

There were two. Yes. There was one who died, who didn't even remember to scream. There was one, not so different from me.

Then I go home, and I cannot remember the smell of grass or the sound of laughter. And it all makes so much sense.
