Because you were ignorant, he is gone. Because you didn't listen, he is gone. Because you cared for your mother more than you did his wellbeing, he is gone. you cannot bring him back.

They all told you this was going to happen. You didn't listen. They tried to stop you. You ran away, taking him with you, for two long years. Your teacher warned you what would happen. You left and did it anyways.

Now you are punished justly. You walk this path alone, even though he is with you. You walk this path to bring him back. It's an endless path that will go on forever, and you walk it anyways.
