A Harry & Bill Fic!

"Harry are you sure about this whole thing?" Ron asked as he watched Harry admiring himself in the mirror.

"Sure about what?" Harry asked, totally distracted.

"Getting married," Ron said. "Don't you think it might be a bad idea?"

"No," Harry said. "What do you think of my new dress robes?"

"They're nice but please don't change the subject," Ron said.

Harry sighed. "Yes Ron, for the absolute last time I'm sure about getting married. What do you have against me marrying Bill anyways?" he said.

"The age difference. I'm afraid he's too old for you," Ron said.

Harry chuckled. "Don't worry about it Ron," he said. "Everything's going to be fine."

Ron didn't look convinced but didn't say anything more. There was a sudden burst of green flames in the fireplace and Bill and Charlie emerged carrying a pile of packages. Bill set his stack down on the kitchen table and went over to kiss Harry. Ron made a face.

"Don't look so grossed out," Charlie said. "You're going to see loads more of that tomorrow."

Harry and Bill laughed.

"Did you two get everything we need?" Harry asked.

"Sure did," Bill said. "We picked up the cake, the flowers, the decorations, and my new dress robes."

"Let me see," Harry said.

He opened the package that Bill handed him and pulled out dress robes in a dark maroon colour.

"I love the colour. They'll go with my green ones," he said.

"I hate maroon," Ron said.

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all," Bill said.

He pulled Harry in for another kiss.

"I'll be upstairs if you need me," Charlie said, grinning.

"Me too," Ron said, looking mildly disgusted.

Bill stared at Ron's retreating form in disbelief.

"What's wrong with him?" he asked.

"He thinks the age difference between us is too big for us to get married," Harry explained.

Bill looked upset.

"I thought Ron would be happy for us," he said sadly.

Harry cupped Bill's face in his hands.

"Don't worry about it," he said gently. "He'll come around eventually. You know that Ron always wanted me to end up with Ginny. I think he's a little bit disappointed that I chose you. Once he sees how happy we are though, he'll stop acting like such a git."

Bill sighed.

"I hope so," he said.

Harry wrapped his arms around Bill and squeezed him tightly.

"Be happy, tomorrow's our wedding day," he said.

Bill grinned with renewed excitement.

"That's better," Harry said as he leaned in for another kiss.

"I know we've got loads of stuff to do today but can we take this upstairs love?" Bill asked.

"I was just about to suggest the same thing," Harry said, grinning.

"Hey, Harry, I'll race you," Bill said.

"You're on," Harry said.

The two of them took off at a run, heading for the bedroom.

The End.
