Shyru and Ray

FLASHBACK
"Max, meet Shyru, Ray, meet Shyru, Kai, meet Shyru, and Chief, meet
Shyru. I met her while I was practicing. She saw me and raced to me. She
said she wants to hang out with us, ya know, to learn from us" said Tyson,
his arm around Shyru's neck.
"Nice to meet you" said Ray, shaking Shyru's hand. They both smiled
at each other, and then she walked away.
END FLASHBACK
Ray couldn't stop thinking about Shyru. She had been hanging around
the Bladebreakers for about three-and-a-half months now. Ray and Shyru were
really good friends, but Ray felt more than just a friendly bond between
them. He felt love, or at least he thought he did.
"Hey! Ray! Come on out! Let's give Driger a warm up with the obstacle
course I planned out!" yelled Kenny through the window. That got Ray off
the subject of Shyru. He ran outside to see cans, pieces of paper, and
bricks.
"Wow! This is awesome, Kenny!" said Ray, looking at all the stuff
laid out for him, Kai, Tyson, and Max. He held up Driger, looked at him for
a while, and then got his launcher ready.
"THREE-TWO-ONE-LET IT RIP!" yelled Tyson. Ray launched Driger.
"Good Luck!" yelled Shyru, studying Driger's every move. She wrote
them down, then looked at Driger some more, and then wrote some stuff down.
She looked at her beyblade, Lighting Seal, and started to think about how
they could do all this in the next year. And maybe they could even be the
fifth Bladebreaker!
"GO DRIGER!" yelled Ray as Driger turned so that he didn't hit any of
the cans. "Yes!" said Ray, happy that he passed the first obstacle. Now it
was to the papers. Ray had to maneuver around them so that they didn't
move. This one would be hard. But only because the papers were kind of
close together.
"You can do it Ray!" yelled Shyru, thinking of Ray and Driger and how
she would be just like them.
"We can do this, Driger. We've got the whole team behind us. This is
only practice," said Ray. He was thinking about Shyru again. He tried to
concentrate on beyblading, though it was hard because Shyru was right
behind him, cheering him on. Driger had to do this. For the team's sake,
for Shyru's sake.
"Go Driger!" yelled Ray as he launched Driger again. Driger went
around the papers slowly, until they were wider apart. Then Driger went as
fast as needed. Ray was focusing on Driger and passing this, but not so
they could get better, so they could impress Shyru. Driger passed the line.
They passed this course.
"Yeah!" yelled Shyru, coming up to Ray and hugging him. "You did it!"
Ray started to blush. Then he knew. He loved Shyru. But now everyone else
knew, and they all started to laugh.
"Shyru and Ray sittin' in a tree!" started Tyson.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" yelled Max.
Shyru stopped hugging Ray. She started to blush, too. She looked at
Ray. Then she ran away. Ray watched her until she was out of sight. Then he
ran away too...
LATER
"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Hagiwara, is Shyru home?" asked Ray, talking to
Shyru's parents. He was hoping that Shyru's sister, Kin, wasn't home. She
seemed to never be home, so Ray hoped she wouldn't start to be home now.
"Why, yes she is. She's up in her room, Ray. She said she didn't want
to be disturbed, but you can go up and talk to her" said Mr. Hagiwara. He
pointed up the stairs and then to the left.
Ray went up the stairs, to the left, and found a door that had a sign
on it. It said:
'Leave me alone. I don't wanna be bothered'
"Shyru? It's me, Ray. Can I come in?" asked Ray, hoping she'd say
yes. Ray was now really worried that Kin might be home. He looked to the
door next to Shyru's, there was a sign that said:
'Don't knock. I'm at another TV-shows house'
Ray wasn't worried anymore. "Shyru?" asked Ray again. He heard Shyru
get up and walk toward the door. She opened it.
"Oh, it really is you. My mom and dad have been trying to get me to
come out by saying it was you. I don't know why, though" said Shyru,
letting him in. She locked the door behind them.
"I need to tell you something" both Ray and Shyru said. They both
laughed, blushed and looked at each other. "Shyru," started Ray. "I think
I..." he stopped. He couldn't say anymore.
"I do too" said Shyru, understanding what Ray couldn't say. They both
leaned forward. They both kissed. Not on the cheek, just on the lips. When
it started to move to 'the next level', Mr. Hagiwara knocked on the door.
Shyru moved away from Ray. "Yes dad?" she asked, blushing even more.
Her cheeks were about as reddish-pink as they could get. She calmed down,
then went to the door and opened it. Ray grabbed a book and pretended to
read it.
"Shyru, your sister is home, I think you should introduce Ray to
her," said Mr. Hagiwara. He pointed downstairs. Ray got up and looked
downstairs. He saw a girl with blond hair, blue eyes, and about five feet,
four inches. She looked nothing like Shyru who had brownish hair with
blondish highlights. Shyru was about five foot two inches, and had green
eyes.
"Fine. Let's go Ray," said Shyru, grabbing Ray's hand and practically
pulling him down the stairs.
"Uh...Ok?" said Ray, though he had no choice. This was the best, yet
weirdest day of his life.
"Kin, meet Ray. Ray, meet Kin. Now you've met. Let's go back upstairs
Ray," said Shyru, pulling Ray back upstairs. Kin saw Shyru and Ray's hands.
"What's up Shyru? Don't want me to take him?" asked Kin
sarcastically. Shyru looked at Kin with her evil eye look. That look
freaked Kin out. "Sorrrry! I was just kidding. Though, you must like him.
You two are holding hands, aren't you?" asked Kin, pointing to Shyru's
hand. She was right. They were holding hands.
"Just forget about it! Not like you don't have a boyfriend!" yelled
Shyru, walking back up the stairs, letting go of Ray's hand.
"Actually, I don't" said Kin, laughing. Shyru just gave away that she
liked him...
MEANWHILE...
"Hey Tyson?" asked Max. He was looking pretty sad. He was feeling
sorry for Ray and Shyru.
"Yeah, buddy?" asked Tyson, not feeling that sorry for them. He felt
a little sorry, like when he makes fun of Hilary when she's standing right
behind him and he knows it, but not necessarily sorry.
"Do you feel kinda bad for making fun of Ray and Shyru? I mean, I
do," said Max, looking down at his feet. He wasn't too happy with himself.
"Nah," said Tyson, looking at Max. Soon he started to feel bad too.
"Ok, I guess. But what are we gonna do about it?" asked Tyson. Suddenly Ray
came out from some shadows.
"You could apologize," said Ray, looking at them. He didn't like what
they did, but he would forgive them.
"Hey Ray! What's up? Sorry about earlier, but you'll forgive me,
right?" asked Kenny, coming out of nowhere. "Yeah, sure buddy" said Ray,
smiling. Then he looked at Tyson.
"Yeah, sorry Ray. I didn't mean it," said Max, putting his hands
behind his head.
"That's ok, and I know Tyson won't say it, so I forgive you too,"
said Ray, holding out his hand to Tyson's. Tyson shook it.
"So, Ray, where did you run off to?" asked Tyson. Ray obviously
wanted to keep it a secret that he went to Shyru's house and kissed her, so
he just said "Nowhere important. Just around the bridge, I went for a walk,
the usual," was Ray's excuse, and it worked. He planned to go back to
Shyru's, and hopefully when no one was there...
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Shyru! Shyru!" whispered Ray. He was outside Shyru's window. He
came, when no one could tell he was there.
"Huh?" said Shyru, not knowing what was going on. She put her head
up. "Ray—"Shyru tried to say, yet Ray covered her mouth.
"You can't let anyone know I'm here. No one can interrupt us now,"
whispered Ray. His eyes sparkled in the moonlight.
"Wow, you came all the way out here, just to see me?" asked Shyru,
whispering.
"Yep," said Ray, he smiled, and jumped into the room. He looked out
the window to shut it, and saw a moving shadow. 'Birds' thought Ray, though
it wasn't...
THE NEXT MORNING
Ray crept into the house where everyone was sleeping. He looked in
everyone's beds to make sure they were all sleeping. 'Good' thought Ray 'No
one has to know I was out'
"And where were you all night?" asked Kai. He came out of a corner,
where Ray wouldn't have seen him.
"B-but you were in your bed," said Ray. He lifted up Kai's covers and
didn't find Kai. He found...A craft type thingy.
"Where were you?" asked Kai again. He looked mad.
"No where. I went for a walk again," said Ray. He wasn't very good at
lying right then. Now he remembered the moving shadow. "That shadow was
you!" said Ray, pointing to Kai.
"Yes, why have you been going to Shyru's house lately?" asked Kai. He
looked at Ray, waiting for the question to be answered.
"I...I'm in love..." said Ray. He got ready for a whole bunch of
questions...
LATER THAT MORNING
Tyson got up and yawned. He went outside to see Ray, on the steps.
"Hey, Ray. What are you doing up so early?" asked Tyson, yawning again.
"Just thinking" is all Ray said for the next couple of hours, or at
least until Shyru came over.
When Shyru finally got there, she started to blush when she saw Ray.
She remembered last night.
FLASHBACK
"Sorry I had to come so late. I—"Ray tried to explain, yet got
interrupted by Shyru kissing him. They fell asleep, and she woke up alone.
END FLASHBACK
"Hey Ray. Um...I think its Tyson's turn to practice the obstacle
course," said Shyru, holding up a schedule that Hilary gave her. "Hilary
won't be able to be here today. She got grounded for being out to late,"
explained Shyru.
Kai was looking at Ray and Shyru. They tried not to look at each
other, though wasn't doing a very good job.
"ALL RIGHT! THAT'S ENOUGH! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU TWO?!?" yelled
Tyson. He was tired of them keeping secrets. He wanted to know what was
going on.
