AN: Welcome, Welcome! This fan fic is called, BIRTHDAY BASH! It should be very interesting, and longer then my last fan fic. I hope that you enjoy it, R and R! OH YEAH! In this chapter, you will be hearing Kagome’s birthday list. On the list, you will hear names that are not in Inuyasha, they will be from other animes, but they also wont necessarily be the same people either. Thanks!

Chapter One: The Birthday List

‘I cant believe it! It has been a year already!’ Kagome thought happily to herself. ‘Wait...that also means...it has been a year since Inuyasha and I first met.’

Kagome is turning 16 in only three days. She has been waiting for this day all her life. Hopefully, it would be the “Sweet Sixteen” that she had been hoping for, considering she has some “stuff” to look out for.

“Kagome?” Mrs. Higurashi yelled from downstairs. “Will you help me with the decorations?”

Kagome walked down stairs. “Mom! My birthday is in three days! Why are we putting up the party decorations now?”

“Well... I just like getting an early start.” Kagome sweat dropped.

‘More like a THREE DAYS head start if you ask me.’ Kagome thought irritably. “Mom, I am going to the Feudal Era to check up on some things.”

“All right!” Mrs. Higurashi yelled out to her, now putting up the streamers. “Just make sure to write your birthday invitation list while you are there.”

“Okay mom!” With that, Kagome put on her big yellow bag, found a pen and a notebook on the counter, and ran out the door towards the well house.

In the Feudal Era, a REALLY bored hanyou sits on the ground next to the well. “When is she getting back?” Inuyasha groaned.

“When she feels better!” A young voice rang in Inuyasha’s ears.

“Shippou! Don’t scare me like that GOD DAMN IT!” Inuyasha screeched horrifically.

“You don’t have to act all bitter you basterd.” Shippou pointed out.

“SHIPPOU WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT KIND OF LANGUAGE?!” Came an angry voice from down the well.

“Hi Kagome!” Shippou yelled down to Kagome. “From Inuyasha, what do you think?”

Inuyasha jumped down the well, took Kagome’s bag, and lifted her out. Before Inuyasha could say ‘“What took you so long?”’ Kagome yelled the word dreaded by Inuyasha so terribly.

“SIT!” Inuyasha was slammed into the ground with the yellow bag following.

“What was that for?!” Inuyasha yelled menacingly.

“For teaching Shippou that kind of language.” Kagome said calmly.

Kagome and Shippou walked off leaving Inuyasha behind. It seemed that no one noticed the happiness laid out on Kagome’s face. Inuyasha however, noticed by her scent.

“What are you so happy about?” Inuyasha asked, annoyed by the big smile all over Kagome’s face.

“Oh, nothing.” Kagome answered cheerfully.

Kagome sat down, taking out her notebook and pen, and started scribbling on it.

“Who should I invite?” Kagome asked quietly to herself. Unfortunately, Inuyasha could hear what she said.

“Invite?” Inuyasha asked smirking. “What? Are you having some kind of festival over at your home or something?”

“Something like that.” Kagome said, her smile getting even bigger.

‘Kagome can be confusing sometimes, but she is my confusing Kagome.’ Inuyasha looked at Kagome, and rushed back to the thought. ‘DID I JUST... NO... MY KAGOME?’ With that, Inuyasha started blushing.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome asked looking at his face. “You look a little flushed, are you ok?”

“Y-yes Kago-Kagome, I...I am fine.” Inuyasha said stuttering. “I am just going to g-go out side, for a b-breath.” With that, Inuyasha walked outside and headed towards the lake.

“Kagome?” Sango came running into the hut. “Oh my god! You are back!”

“Hey Sango!” Kagome got up, and greeted Sango with a hug. “How are you?”

“I am fine, what about you?” Sango said smiling.

“Well, I am making a list of people for my birthday party.” Kagome said quickly.

“OH MY GOD! YOU ARE TURING SIXTEEN!!” Sango screeched, which made Kagome’s ears turn red.

“Kagome? You are turning sixteen?” A young man’s voice came into the hut.

“Hey Miroku! Yes, I am turning sixteen.” Kagome said happily.

“Wow... it seems like only yesterday when we first met.” Said Sango.

“I agree.” Replied Miroku.

“The only thing is...it has been a full year since me and Inuyasha first met...” Kagome said quietly. “Do you think I should invite him?”

“Invite me to what?” Inuyasha’s voice rang through out the hut.

“Umm... Nothing Inuyasha, absolutely nothing.” Kagome said to quickly for anyone to understand.

“Feh.”

Kagome sat back down, and started putting down names. She said the names out loud, some of which Inuyasha has never heard of, some he has, and one... that he really didn’t want to hear.

“Okay! I think I have got it!” Kagome said excitedly, and read them out loud. “Ayame, Ryoko, Chichiri, Taka, Kaname, Touya, Toukoya, Sosuke, Sakura, Li, Naru, Kietaro, Miaka, Chihiro, Shinobu...” Kagome continued to what Inuyasha seemed like an hour. “Hojo, and-“Kagome was cut of by the scowling of Inuyasha.

“WHY ARE YOU INVITING THAT HOBO GUY?!” Inuyasha shouted. Punching a hole into the floor.

“And Inuyasha...” Kagome said quietly.

“M-me?” Inuyasha asked now a little embarrassed. “Why me?”

“Because...”

“That isn’t a reason.”

“Because you are my friend Inuyasha.” Kagome said, smiling slightly.

“You really think of me as a friend?” Inuyasha asked.

“Of course I do!” Kagome yelled laughing.

“Feh! No big deal.” Inuyasha smirked then laid back.

Kagome walked outside, thinking about what the party would be like. ‘If Inuyasha comes, do you think anyone would notice?’ Kagome was ripped out of her thoughts when she heard a loud yell.

BOOM!

“HENTAII!!” Sango came running out of a different hut, and sat next to Kagome.

“Miroku again?” Kagome asked, remembering all the other times that Miroku had groped her and Sango.

“Yeah...” Sango said tiredly.

“Maybe we should head on in.” Kagome suggested. “I will make some dinner.”

Sango and Kagome went in side the hut, as Miroku and Inuyasha were just finishing an argument. The hut fell silent as Kagome was getting dinner ready. Kagome went outside towards the lake to get some water, while Inuyasha was looking at Miroku and Sango leaning against each other. He pictured Miroku and Sango as Kagome and himself. He couldn’t stop thinking about what happened that day.

‘Me? Being considered her friend?’ Inuyasha asked himself. ‘She was probably just saying that to be nice...’ He was interrupted out of his thoughts when the smell of Ramen filled his nose.

“Eat up everyone!” Kagome sang out cheerfully. “I will be right back, I am just going to change.” Kagome said, as she rummaged through her bag. Kagome walked out of the hut, and behind a tree, so no one could see her.

“So, Inuyasha...” Sango began. “I heard you were invited to Kagome’s birthday.”

“Birthday?” Inuyasha asked, thinking about what the word meant.

“Yes. Birthday. You do know what a birthday is don’t you?” Miroku asked.

“...” Inuyasha was quiet.

“I guess that is a no.” Miroku took the hint. “A birthday is whe-“Miroku was cut off.

“I think Kagome should explain this.” Sango told Miroku with a hint of a glare in her eyes.

Just then, Kagome came in. Inuyasha gaped at the sight of her. She was wearing a tight white tank top, which showed the curves of her chest, and a pair of pajama pants with little bones on them, which had the words “top dog” in side of them ((I have those, they are so cute!)).

“What?” Kagome said blushing slightly.

“Kagome...” Sango looked up and down Kagome’s body. “Are you sure you should be wearing that?”

“Yes she should!” Inuyasha blurted out.

Kagome glanced at Inuyasha then looked at Sango.

“Why do you ask?” Kagome knew that she was talking about Inuyasha. The way he was acting was now currently getting on her nerves.

“Never mind.” Sango said, as she went outside to wash her dish.

Kagome went over to Inuyasha and sat next to him. Inuyasha kept on glancing over at Kagome. He eyed her closely, observing every curve of her body. Inuyasha was now sweating, he wanted her so badly, but he knew he couldn’t have her, not yet anyway. Kagome looked over at Inuyasha.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome asked quietly as she leaned her head onto Inuyasha’s shoulder. “Are you ok?”

“Umm...yeah Kagome, I am fine.” Inuyasha was trying to choke the words out of his mouth. Then he thought of a way to get his mind of Kagome a little.

“Umm...Kagome?” Inuyasha asks hesitantly. “What is a birthday?”
