My darkest and my deepest thoughts

All the while I'm so distraught

I know I might, I know I ought

To reveal one passion, just one tiny thought

I dream of her, I dream of you

I dream that we'll be together soon

One word, one whisper is all I need

But, instead, you decide to vigorously feed

On my mind, my body

Scaring me into thinking

Our love is legendary

That we were one

That we were all

But once, and for all

It all seems so absurd

I felt for you

I still feel for you

But not so much

Hardly at all

Still, I hope you'll call

To fix what you have broken

To say what has been left unspoken

My wounds take time to heal

Until they do I cannot feel

But I know it's there

I know it's real

I still love you

And I know for sure

That you also have undying love
