AN: Here's another one of my Lord of the Rings (which I don't own)/ Christmas carol parodies, but I had to put it up today, you know? It's New Years (in Gondor)! This is to the tune of "The Christmas Song" which is most commonly known as "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire", but the first is the real name.

The ring roasting in the Cracks of Doom

Gollum nipping at your finger

Songs of priase being sung by a minstrel

And folks dressed up like soldiers

Everybody knows four hobbits and a Dunedain

Helped to fight off the Dark Lord

Two of the hobbits, with their eyes all a-glow

Will find it hard to believe thier task is done

And soon an Elf Lord's on his way

He's bringing lots of other elves and his daughter

And two esquires are gonna spy

To see if their friends are really back

And so I'm offering this simple phrase

To all who understand this song

Although it's been said many times, many ways

"The realm of Sauron is ended"
