He was known by many names... The Yetti, The Abominable Snowman, and "What on earth is that horrible thing?"

But to many, he was the last thing they saw before he extinguished their life. Usually by chomping them in a few gulps

Sure, it was a quick way to get a bad reputation, but it was also a quick way to get lunch. Skiers were the best. And they were plenty.

The Yetti growled, hiding behind a tree, staring...

Waiting...

It's hungered...

The Yetti noticed a red-haired man trying to ski, but not doing so well.

*Easy target* The Yetti thought, as he ran out, ready to chomp the man.

The man looked up, and saw the Yetti coming towards him. The Yetti knew that the man had seen him. *He's going to know what hit him. It's always fun to see the terror in their eyes* The Yetti thought.

What the Yetti didn't expected was to see the man get into a fighting stance.

*Oh well, he's going to go out bravely. I'll remember that when I feast upon his corpse.* The Yetti thought, leaping into the air, intending to tackle the man.

The man jumped, twirling in mid-air...

In purple flames...

The Yetti didn't have time to comprihend what was happening when he fell backward, amidst purple flames, until he hit the ground. Then the man took off his skis, and tossed them away. Then he resumed his stance

*What...* The Yetti got back up, only to be lept upon by the man, who held him to the ground, laughing. Then the Yetti was exploded in purple flames.

The Yetti got back up very slowly. It didn't think of possibly retreating. Too bad...

The man screamed, then ran at the Yetti, forcing him back onto the ground, then started slashing him across his stomach.

*He's going to eat ME!* the Yetti thought, terrified for the first time in his life.

The man then started pounding on the Yetti, over and over, until the last hit, and the Yetti was engulfed in purple flames.

The man got back up, then just said "Just die there." Then he turned back to get his skies.

The Yetti started to black out, with it's last thought being *I only made one mistake. I should have been more careful.*
