Disclaimer: Um, All hail Akira Toriyama?
Summary: AU. In the future, the planet Earth has been completely destroyed by the Neo Red Ribbon Army. With nothing left to loose, a lone princess makes the choice to go back in time to change everything. Yes, another Mirai-Bra fic... give it a chance? please?

Prologue
'Asteroids', Bra Briefs thought sickeningly. Milky blue eyes scanned the scene from outside her spaceship. Hundreds of asteroids and chunks of debris, were all that remained of the planet known as Earth. No light or sound, absolutely nothing that indicated life. It was now a graveyard for billions.
'Mama... Papa...I'm home...'
Her flight from Namek had been a foolish idea. She knew that the bounty on her head was still high. Bloodhound bounty hunters were sniffing out her Ki across the universe, and they would find her soon enough. That's why she had to keep moving at all costs. At least Namek would be all right without Bra and her 'cargo'.
She had convinced herself that what she was doing was justified, that she could make it home and forget. But who was she trying to fool, no planet was safe from the Red Ribbon Army that reigned across the galaxy. Earth had been first, and then over the years planets followed it into oblivion.
No matter what world she would seek refuge in, they would find her. There was no place in the universe for her to hide. No place in this time, at least.
But all was not lost. In her solo travels she was fortunate to collect - at least what she hoped would be - the keys to the universe's salvation. Sitting on the spaceship's navigator seat, were several orange globes that glinted brightly underneath the fluorescent lights. They varied from different shapes and sizes, and each had it's own number of stars.
According to one of her mother's bed time stories, these legendary balls could summon a dragon to grant one wish. Though, only on Namek, was Bra well informed that these odd looking spheres did exist. They had been purposely scattered across the universe for their own protection. Finally, after two long years since her voyage from Earth, Bra had finally collected them all.
'Now... what the hell do I wish for?'
Bra shifted uncomfortably in the captain's seat. She'd been brooding for hours now over that question. The Dragon, would grant anything within it's power. But it wasn't a Genie, so only one wish, not three. If she messed up the first time, who knew how many years it would take to gather all the ball again. That is if she lived long enough to do it all over again.
The first thought that came to mind was simply wishing the planet earth and everyone back. Especially the mighty Z Fighters. But would there really be a point? Doctor Gero's army would simply return in a matter of days and destroy her home and love ones all over again.
No, she couldn't let that happen. No, not again. She had lost both her parents once, she wouldn't let history repeat itself. If only the Earth's defense force were strong enough to withstand the destructive duo before...
Bra's eyes widened suddenly. "That's it!"
Standing up in her seat, she stepped over to where the dragon balls lay. Slowly she turned the chair they were resting on, towards the cockpit viewer. Swallowing hard, Bra began the incantation she learned in order to summon the dragon.
'Please let this work...'
Her ship was jostled backwards, sending the teenager crashing backwards onto the deck. At first, Bra feared there had been a sneak attack from a bounty hunter on her tail. That was until her gaze met with two enormous ruby eyes just outside the window, looking straight at her. From the other viewing panels, she could also see endless golden serpent coil wrapped around the spaceship - preventing it from any kind of movement.
Who disturbs my sleep?
Bra swallowed nervously at the sound of the Dragon's intimidating voice. The question was more like an accusation. Those fiery eyes could practically scorch anyone with a glare. She just hoped that the dragon wasn't hungry.
A few minutes later, Bra picked herself up off the hard steel floor. With fierce determination, she stared back at the dragon, banishing any trace of fear or emotion on her face. It was as if she were staring an opponent before a battle.
"I am Bra Briefs..." she began. Was it her imagination or did the dragon flinch? It was probably just her. The celestial being probably saw the girl as ant that managed to wake him.
A furious voice screamed in the back of her head. She may have been the last earthling alive, but Bra wasn't anything ordinary. Her father wasn't even from Earth, and was royalty on his birth planet. It was his reputation, his blood, that had kept her alive all this time.
"Saiyan Princess of Vejitasei," she added with pride.
The dragon continued to stare at her, as if doubting her title. Bra couldn't blame it really. In appearance, she looked like the spitting image of her mother. Saiyans, as she remembered her father and Son Goku from old photos, were totally masculine with spiky black hair and beady eyes.
Under her feminine looking, white and trimmed with a bit silver, battle armor; Brad knew she looked like a harmless earthling. But she was her father's daughter, and just because she was a half-breed, didn't mean she wasn't worthy of the title.
"Do you doubt me?" Bra asked carefully, folding her arms across her chest.
No. The dragon rumbled. Tell me then, young Saiyan, what is your wish?
This was it, the moment Bra Briefs had been waiting for, for over two lonely years. It was the only hope to undo the chaos inflicted by the Neo Red Ribbon Army and save the universe. Also, the only chance to be reunited with her loved ones on a restored planet Earth.
History should be changed,
"I wish..."
...And it will.

Author's Notes:
Okay, this is my first Dragon Ball Z/GT/Whatever fan fiction, and one centered on a character who doesn't get a decent storyline in the series. Bra is pretty much a background character who plays no important role in the series unlike the other members of her family. Anyway, as much as I love the (insanely-long) epic series, but I'm going to rely on general information websites to help with the terminology.
Dragonball OverLord
dbzo./
As for Bra. No she's not a female version of Trunks, the GT mall rat, or a Mary Sue. She's just, well you'll see. Also, I love Kosmos of Xenosaga's costume design for Bra, but I can't do costume description to save my life. So, here... a picture is worth a thousand words anyway.
