Okay. So I decided that from the reviews I got over night that I must be really, really annoying.

It seems, according to what I can gather from what you said, that I used enough mystery to get you all interested, and then forgot to actually write a story.

So.

Because author's letters are forbidden by ffdn, I've decided to have Yuugi and Ryou have a little conversation, and hopefully clear it all up for you. Remember- It probably screwed with Yuugi's head a little, so you're still gonna have to read between the lines and all that.

Sorry about all this.

"So he's making me carry this around everywhere. I'm telling you, no joke, that he calls me every hour. And I had to go through hell to even come out today."

"So that's why you guys didn't come to that tournament the other week."

"No, we didn't go to that because it was at Kaiba Land. Ever since he found out about Hante, he thinks every security guard there is gonna grab me up and carry me across the country. He's being so… argh! Do you know what he did to Kaiba?"

"Uh… well… if it was what Bakura was so ticked about the other day… is this the one where he tried to kill him without Bakura's help?"

"He did what?"

"Oh… um… nothing."

"Oh, god…"

"But you can't really blame him. This whole thing really scared us, Yuugi."

"But I'm okay, so-"

"That's not enough! Look at it from our point of view. You start acting really weird, disappearing at random times, not telling me anything, Yami says you were getting weird letters and 'phone calls… And then you suddenly disappear off the face of the earth for fourteen hours, Anzu sees you getting pushed around by some weird guy that we've barely seen around school, Yami can't contact you, and when you do come back, you're all scratched up and hurt and not talking! It was scary, Yuugi!"

"But-"

"No buts, we didn't know where you were! We were scared! We still don't know what happened! For all we know, Yami may or may not have killed some innocent bystander that just happened to talk to you when you got sick!"

"… he didn't."

"Oh, and that makes it so much better. We know the shadows electrocuted the one responsible, while the victim still won't talk-"

"Victim? I'm sorry, no, I'm not-"

"Well, from our point of view, you are."

"… look, Ryou, it was… I don't really want to talk about it…"

"Well, I do. You don't understand, do you? We thought- we thought- Anzu's still sure you were raped and mugged and near on killed-!"

"He wouldn't have killed me."

"-and all you care about is… Yuugi, this isn't just about you! We don't know what happened, and we just stood by while… don't you understand what you're doing to Yami? I don't blame him for whatever he does lately. He's feeling scared, and guilty, and useless, and you can't even tell him that he isn't, because you don't want anyone to worry about you? Yuugi!"

"… Yami doesn't…"

"He does."

"… Look, Ryou… Hante was just… I thought he was just a kind of fan, you know? He knew who I was, and he liked me, he was just lonely. It wasn't-"

"Don't you dare tell me it wasn't a big deal."

"… what's with the Bakura snarl, Ryou?"

"…"

"Sorry… he was just lonely. He didn't have a heap of friends, I think… and… and he just didn't know how to act…"

"Yuugi. A security guard, who has tapes of you, who calls you and writes letters and shows up at school and your house and asks you to see him every day… that's not what a lonely person does. That's what a stalker person does."

"He wasn't a stalker."

"…"

"He just-!"

"…"

"Look, I told him to back off, okay? I went to meet him to tell him to back off. It was just gonna be a quick meeting, and then things would cool off."

"Which turned into a fourteen hour long beat Yuugi up?"

"You know, you're not helping me here."

"Sorry. But like I said… we were really worried about you. It's kind of scary that you're still defending him."

"I'm not defending him. And he didn't beat me up. He just… He just… he took it the wrong way, and…."

"… and?"

"Okay, so he hit me! Are you happy? He did! He hit me, and threw me into the wall! He just didn't want to be lonely, okay? He didn't want to lose me as a friend, and I was telling him I didn't want to see him and… and he hit me… and… and I hit the wall… and… and I couldn't stand up so well. I couldn't really see… He was just… just… he probably just thought he was helping me… taking me somewhere where I could sleep it off… He put me in the car and he said… I couldn't see properly, okay? I couldn't think, I could barely stand up straight! If he hadn't put me in the car, I wouldn't have dropped right there on the bus stop! Would you prefer he'd left me there?"

"He was the one who made you like that."

"It was an accident! An accident! It- it… it was all a misunderstanding…"

"Yuugi…"

"I woke up in the bed… and… and he said how sorry he was… he didn't mean for it to happen… he just… he was sorry… I think… it was all kind of hazy… I couldn't really…"

"… what happened?"

"… he was just kind… kind of sitting beside me… just talking… letting me drink some water… making me feel better… apologising… he didn't… the entire thing, he'd just really liked me… he couldn't help… and… and… he kept touching my hair and… and then he was so close…"

"… oh… my…"

"I didn't realise what… and then… but I told him to stop. I mean, I didn't want that. I didn't… want… any of it. I… and then he was… but I got out in the end… I got out. And everything was okay. It was okay… and… I got away."

"You… did he-?"

"I just started walking… he couldn't follow straight away because… because I'd hit him… I hit him with this big… big glass thing… and my shoe. Oh, god… I hit him so many times, and… and he wouldn't get off… until I… and then…"

"Yuugi, this is important… did he-?"

"But I got away. I got away, and just kept walking. But then… then he caught up with me… so I got the train, because he couldn't catch me if I was on the train, and he didn't get on the train, and I got away… But… but I fell asleep… and… and I think my wallet was stolen, I don't know… it wasn't there when I got off the train… I just… I walked home… I was walking for hours… two hours… and the doors were locked, and Anzu was upset… but I could just go up and go to bed…

"But Yami was scared. When he came home, he was scared… he thought I'd gone… left him… I couldn't sleep… he needed to be okay… and I needed to… but he held me and it was all okay again. I got away… I'm okay…"

"But then we saw him again?"

"I should have thought of it… he works at Kaiba Land… of course he would be there… but he wanted to talk to me… he was gonna… and all I could've done was… He wouldn't leave me alone… but Yami… You said that Yami…"

"… it was shadow magic. We figures out that Hante was probably the one that hurt you… because you looked so scared… and I think Yami kind of read your mind a little… He let the shadows slip into the circuitry… and it…"

"… oh god… Yami…"

"He didn't want him to… to hurt…"

"Oh god…"

"… are you sure you're okay, Yuugi?"

"… he… it was all just a… a misunderstanding…"

"Yuugi, he was dangerous. He could've really hurt you. No one has the right to do what he did."

"… you sound like a bad school special, you know that?"

"…"

"… I'm gonna go home now."

"Okay… Yuugi?"

"Yeah?"

"Did he… do you need to see a doctor, or anything?"

"… No. No, I don't. But I might need to talk to you a while… if that's okay…"

"Anytime, Yuugi… anytime at all."

Okay! Now! Is it reasonably understandable? Or should I add yet another chapter to explain? Everyone get what Hante did and why Kaiba Land exploded and know that it's really up to them how far Hante got?

No?

Well, fuck.

If you really don't, my email is .au and I will be very happy to answer your questions, and I'm very sorry for the confuzzling. I guess I was too vague. I'll try not to do that, next time.

Love and Peace, LeDiz.
