A bloodshot sky remains
The only proof to show the truth
That washed away with silver rains.

The hero left to mourn himself
As time remained to stay,
His life had ended years before
Nothing left unsaid to say.

The world cried tears of parchment
As the fire blazed in his heart,
Unnatural screams haunted his dreams
And ripped his soul apart.

He battled through the thunder
As death lingered in his ears,
Destiny said that he'd be dead
And touched his last remaining tears.

He was the tenth, the Sages say

Echoes spilled the gap fulfilled
His spirit left to save the fight.

His mother never loved him,
A precious fate denied
But as he rose she took his hand
And loved him, named him, cried
